Having been a customer for over 20 years the consistency of the fine... cuisine, the attentiveness of the staff in a friendly atmosphere has it at the top of my list of fine restaurants in the OldForge area. I was excited to be going back to this place after not dining at Frankie's for a while and with no reason. But now I do have... reason(s) NOT to go back. We got there at the later part of the dinner crowd, we were seated, this horrible server came overgrunted a few things and then stormed off. The food came which was just down right lousy. The quality was terrible, not worththe price and the service was beyond some of the worst EVER. Frankie, I say shutter the place and go down as the great place itonce used to be. Read more

The best of the best. The most AMAZING Italian food. Every single item. The calamari, chicken cacciatore, veal parm, vodka... sauce, etc. We have been going the same week for years as we visit Old Forge. We are made to feel like family. I write this as Ieat my leftovers yummmmm. Read more
Drove to Old Forge last week for our anniversary! Listened to music at the View and then headed for Frankie?s! What a delightful... place to eat where everyone seems like family. The food was awesome as usual and the staff was friendly! We went back last nightand had Osso Bucco (both of us). It was so tender and delicious, it won?t be the last time we have it! It was very good. Loved our waitress Samantha. Very sweet. We had chicken french that tasted good I just would like more lemon.
Had a wonderful time at Frankie's today with my husband! It was the perfect start to date night, followed by a movie at the... Strand Theater. The hostess and our servers were so sweet and helpful. What a perfect example of the kindness and hospitalitythat makes Old Forge such a wonderful get away! We especially recommend the homemade desserts! Definitely get some coffee or teawith your gelato -- it is CREAMY and RICH. Wish we had taken photos -- but at least we took home leftovers! Read more
We were very lucky when we went in on a Saturday Night that there was a cancellation . Both the family and Briana made us feel... very welcome. The food was fantastic. I had the chicken salpino and the creamy marsala sauce with mushrooms and hot pepper wasthe best I?ve tasted. I cut my chicken with a fork as it was so tender. My husband had veal parmigiana and it too was tenderand delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly! We shall return! Read more
