The food was pretty good. I will say these 2 things: there could be a little bit more on the plate, even if I think people could... stand to eat a little less as I do these days. I've grown tired of hearing of a supply chain, when we as Americans should havebeen standing up to the danger blamed on COVID. These problems are self induced and no longer acceptable. Despite the rant, thefood was good and the service was given with friendly smiles. The other thing I will say is the meat in my omelet was cooled.Not even a big deal, and I didn't complain. We first stopped at a Microbrewery down the street and decided Not to stay there....thank God. This little diner sat us... promptly, it was bright and clean, also in a great location....can't miss it. We had hamburgers.. I know, nothing fancy, butthey were really good! I'd definitely go back and I would recommend stopping in for a meal! Read more
Food was delicious and fairly priced. Waitress wasn?t very knowledgeable on menu but each waitress was pleasant and very nice.... One of the best burgers I?ve ever had was here. Turkey sandwich was great. Mac and cheese bites were yummy! The potatoe wedgeswere lightly crispy outside and soft inside. Dining room seemed clean and organized. Read more
Stopped here to eat after riding the Adirondack Railroad. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. The diner... part was closed, leaving the bar as the only part open. There was outdoor seating and it was under the patio, which was nicebecause it was hot and sunny. Prices were reasonable, on par with similar restaurants. If you are in Old Forge and are lookingfor a place to eat, I recommend the Front Door Diner/Back Door Bar. Read more
Food was fine, nothing spectacular, just decent eats. The wait staff were super nice, the restaurant was interesting.
I?ve been here a couple times for breakfast in August and September. It?s busy but we got a seat pretty quickly. The food is... really good here as far as breakfast goes and the pancakes are especially tasty. Great sausage and nothing over or undercooked.I loved the way they made the home fries. I wish they were a little crispier, but they?re very good, and not greasy. Excellentservice, decent prices, central to a lot of places. Read more

This review is really for the sister bar, The Back Door Lounge. Cool spot in Old Force for a drink. Bartender was very... attentive and prompt with taking my order. Ordered a burger with fries. It came out great and timely. Price was fair for abar in a tourist heavy location. Will definitely return and suggest too all that visit Old Forge. Read more
