We beat the crowd so well that we got there before all but one of the servers who seemed like a veteran of the business. She was... polite and professional. My biggest disappointment was the generic taste of the food. As basic as it can get. The lumberjackcame with dry toast, dry sausage, pre scrambled eggs from the distributor like egg-beaters and pancakes that got cold before Icould open a few butter packets. This review is intended only for waiting on the food to arrive after an order was taken. One star (should be none) because two... moms with 3 kids arrived shortly before 10AM. Our orders were taken by 10:05AM? pic shown is the time we finally got ourfood!!! So many people are leaving full at this time now. So, what are the cooks doing back there? Arrived early to avoid the rush. Fast and friendly service. Clean! Efficient and clear operations in the front. Coffee was good.... Plenty of creamer/condiments without needing to request. Took a bit for the food despite the handful of tables actually seated(mostly empty) and most eating already. which was the not so good part. Bacon and toast over cooked, pancakes rubbery, eggs overhard equal scrambled then fried. Well done homestyle potatoes = hard as rock and super soft one combo. I don?t give poor reviews on any consistent basis. This owner/operator unfortunately deserves the one star I?ve given him and... his restaurant for the miserable experience our family had at this establishment. Bottom line: if you are fortunate enough toget a decent meal here count yourself lucky! If your experience isn?t stellar and you make it known to the owner his responsewill be, well, abysmal !! Take a moment and read the other negative reviews posted here. Should you find yourself not reasonablysatisfied with the fare, those tell a truer tale! The owner has no interest in customer service or addressing a complaint withanything more than; too bad! Or as in our case, ?you ate the food didn?t you?? Yes, after waiting more than an hour and a halfand the order still wasn?t filled correctly. Yes, we ate the food! It wasn?t inedible. It was cold, incorrect and mediocre atbest. Pancakes were delicious. I'm not a huge pancake fan so I didn't get any, well let's just say my hubby didn't get to eat all... his pancakes. They were great! Wait staff was super friendly. I want to go back the next time and get my own set of pancakes. Read more
We really enjoyed our breakfast there this morning, our server was so nice and really made our son feel special with his hot... chocolate and whip cream on his pancakes, he was having a really rough morning and she totally made his day. This place is a great stop for reasonably priced breakfast food. The service was just ok, nothing spectacular. I did find a... piece of sausage in my home fries which, as a vegetarian, wasn?t a fun experience. All the rest of the food was really goodthough! There are also crayons and paper for kids (or adults who still act like kids) to color with which is always nice. Read more
Breakfast was wonderful, and our waiter was very polite and helpful. Everything was delicious, you can tell they put lots of... effort into their service. It gets super busy a couple hours after opening so it's best to arrive early. We were very satisfied!Thank you Keyes' Pancake House! We'll be back next year! Read more
