This restaurant is infuriating! I've never been able to eat here because even when I get there early enough, I'm always turned... away. This has happened 3 times now. I tried to make a reservation and they wouldn't let me even though they had an empty table.When I got there less than 5 minutes after calling, again I was turned away. Not worth the hassle!!! My wife and I have dinner at Randy's whenever we are in town. The food is great, and they have an extensive menu, along with... daily specials. The restaurant is on the smaller side, and is run by Randy and his wife Tina. You won't find a nicer and morepersonable couple. Throughout this pandemic they have tried to do everything they can do keep themselves, and their customerssafe. Because they don't have access to extra help in this tourist town they have kept the mask requirement in effect to keeptheir business up and running. We find that to be reasonable, and you can remove it when you get seated. I have always foundthat if you don't appreciate a business's rules, that it's easier to move on instead of making a scene. What a cozy, little place to grab a homemade meal. I ordered the fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and coleslaw. It was... wonderful! It came out hot and fresh. The gravy will knock you off your feet! My wife had a enormous BLT which was amazing!Affordable too! The staff was swift and friendly. WOW! I can't say enough about Randy's! What a gem in Old Forge!
