Consistently great ice cream in a beautiful location. The kids who are the staff are very enjoyable. Lots of tables with... umbrellas to enjoy the scenic marshes of Old Lyme. This is our "go-to" place for ice cream in the Old Lyme / East Lyme area. Read more

My chocolate chip ice cream sugar cone was simply delicious!! Well worth the $5 price for a small cone. The staff were extremely... helpful in describing several other flavors. Sitting under an umbrella outside, with a breeze from Long IslandSound, was anadded bonus. My next visit I plan on ordering the clam or lobster roll. Read more
Overrated IMO. $5 for a decent scoop. Spent $9 on a milkshake that tasted like cold milk. These are basically NYC prices.... Cashier was pretty unapologetic about our issues w the milkshake. I?m not from CT but there?s gotta be something better aroundhere. Read more
Great food but don?t bother with the order to pickup. We ordered at 11:45 and it said pick up 1:02pm. We arrived at 11:59 only... to be told it would be fifteen minutes. 30 minutes to make two burgers?? Better off just driving up and ordering. Read more
Not worth the money. I was over charged. I ordered a large sundae. It was a small cup plopped in a larger cup. It was not even... full. There was a huge layer or whip cream. I removed whip cream to see very little ice cream. When I asked at the counter oneof the girls said oh we do that all the time. It's normal. So it is normal to charge for a large and not fill the cup and placein a larger cup? I was also charged well over the price of the ice cream plus taxes another dollar. If they do that to everyonethen they are making extra money plus asking for tips. I didn't think about asking for a receipt because I was paying cash mymistake. Read more
Amazing location and great staff, but I?d compare the food to a cafeteria at a school. I had fish tacos that were sooo wimpy in... portion and poor in flavor and didn?t come as described with salsa etc. my partners fish sandwich was also flat and lifeless,the curly fries felt like the cheapest frozen version from the dollar store.
