Driving thru CT on the way back to RI and we just searched for something along the way. Didnt even view the menu a head of time.... It was absolutely incredible. We were seated immediately and right by the view on the edge of the patio. Every employee whopassed me on my way to the bathroom said hello and good morning. The menu had so much on it and the specials sounded great. Myboyfriend and I couldn?t decide what we wanted so we ordered two meals each just so we could try different things. We were sofull but we ate every bite. It was beyond great. We joked that we will make it an annual tradition and drive the hour and 20minutes just for the food but I dont think we are joking. Don't let the full parking lot scare you away, there is a lot of seating both inside and out so in spite of all the cars we did... not have to wait. Lot of staff at lunch time so even though food prep time a bit long, you never wait for the staff. I wish theclam chowder had a bit more clams but other than that everything was great. We first discovered this place shortly after itfirst opened which was at the start of the pandemic. I am so happy to see they came through the worst of times and by allindications are flourishing. I don't think i ever had so many different wait staff check on us. Our assigned waitress, which ifI remember correctly, is the owner, was great. Read more
Good breakfast location. We stopped in for breakfast and some coffee as we were on the way to an event. This hit the spot. I... ordered a western omelette and my friend ordered a veggie omelette. They give you home fries and toast and they're totally finewith customizing your items. The staff was very friendly and quick on the refills of coffee / water. Great place for breakfast!! So cute and homey in side with good seating and booths. There?s an outside patio for summer dining... overlooking the marsh. Food was excellent and fresh with lots of choices of eggs, omelettes and pancakes . Our server Libi wasefficient and friendly as was the rest of the staff. Great location off the highway but nice quiet atmosphere at the restaurant.We will be back! Read more
Enjoyed a nice lunch here. I ordered the crispy cod sandwich with a side of coleslaw. We weren't able to eat outside because... it was too windy but it's spacious inside with nice views out the windows. Service was very good as well. They were very busydue to an event going on at the museum next door but they handled the crowd well. Read more
