Depends on the day. Some the food is great and other times not so great. Inconsistent at best. Service is sometimes fast and... sometimes slow. Drinks are good. Servers are nice and atmosphere is good. You have 50/50 chance of having a good experiencehere. Need to work on being more consistent in all areas. Read more
Just going to state facts. Got app with no utensils. Asked for them. Had to seek them out 10 minutes later and food was cold.... Was told there were no clean dishes. Bisque came out 3 minutes before food and was barely lukewarm. Then food came out over anhour after ordered. Was told kitchen printer broke. Just was pretty awful and we spent close to $200. With everything broken andno dishes and cold food would have liked something being removed from bill. Especially since we aren?t asshats. Read more
Had the best cobb salad in a long time. Added shrimp they were cooked just right. The fried clams were plentiful and delicious.... Will go back again. Read more
The food was inexpensive compared the Lobster Claw Pound where we ate the night before. 7 people in our party multiple... appetizers and lobster meals. Food was really good but the wait was a little over an hour just to sit. Our party arrived around6:30pm to eat. We were there total about 4 hours between waiting to sit and for dinner to come out. Our favorite summer spot! Love the lobster deal! Only thing is now you don't get the coleslaw and fries, they come separately.... The fries are a big portion so you could probably split one between a few people! Unfortunately this time around the AC was notworking inside, and it was very hot outside that day. We ordered take out today and got a burger and a lobster roll, the burger was good, but the lobster roll was watery and kind of... heavy on the lettuce, and considering the price this was kind of a bummer. The Lobster roll from Mainely Lobster was basicallythe same price and was considerably better. The main issue had was we ordered, take out asked how long it would take and thewoman serving us said around 20-30 minutes. So we wait closer to 45 minutes, my wife goes up and asks and our food had just beensitting there waiting for us. We sat at the chairs right next to the counter, they never called our names, and the instructionswe got were to wait and they would call our name... They weren't empty but they weren't super busy, and when we did pick up ourfood, there was no apology for letting it sit there without notifying us, and they didn't even remember the entire order ( wehad to ask for our drinks which we almost left without) Maybe it was a one off, but it was not a great experience overall, andwhile the burger was good, the lobster roll was disappointing and over priced. My family and I went when this place was busy and short staffed like everywhere is right now, and let me say our waitress Wendy... was AMAZING! SHE WAS KIND fun and on top of our needs and requests. Our food was great and we had just an amazing time. Thankyou so much! Read more
We were headed somewhere else, and I noticed all the cars there. I had to know what was the attraction. We walked in, and were... told it would be a bit of a wait for a table. We chose to sit at the bar, as not to wait. It turned out to be a good decision.We ordered from a bartender that know what she was doing. We choose the 3 course dinner. It wasn't a killer price , so we triedit. My wife order a crab stuffed fish dish , starting with a cup of clam chowder, and for dessert a raspberry marscapon. I hadthe ceaser salad, bread fried clam strips, and dessert was a wonderful cake. The food was good but the friends we made wasspecial. The people at the bar were fun to talk to, and we had a lesson on how to speak Mainer . We made fun of their slang andthey thought minnesota speak was funny. Not sure we speak funny but I guess Fairplay is due. It was a good evening away fromhome. Give the place a try. Read more
