Unexpectedly ended up here after a long car ride from jersey and what a pleasant surprise it was ! The restaurant has great... decor , and a huge inviting bar when you walk in . It was a full house but the team still managed to greet us right away andmake us feel welcome immediately . They had a great selection of local beers on tap , and the bartender was so helpful inmaking recommendations and letting us taste a few before we ordered . I ordered a specialty cocktail while my boyfriend ordereda few different local brews , and we were impressed with all of our choices . For appetizers we ordered the sweet potato wafflefries , and the popcorn chicken . They were both DELICIOUS and hit the spot after a long trip . We also ordered the steakItaliano to go for a late night snack and it was the perfect balance of spice , delicious ingredients ,and flavor . The staffhere made us feel so welcomed , the owner even came over and chatted for a while . We headed up to the location, ordered pizza and wings to go- had a draft while we waited. Great full bar, indoor -outdoor... seating with a band.. pizza is just gorgeous! Met the owner who is just as gracious. Read more

Been here 3 or 4 times - food is pretty consistent and enjoyable! The bartender needs some training - her attitude is horrible-... makes you feel that u are bothering her ! Just doesn't have the personality to be "front of the house" - she definitely wouldnot be mine! Maybe sitting at a table would be better - ? Read more

I don?t know what happened to this restaurant. The Local was one of our favorite local places before they closed for a few... weeks in the Spring. We have been a few times since they reopened and every time we?ve been the food has been ?horrendous? andthe service has also been way below par. We ordered a pizza there last night (7/8/22) with an app and I can honestly say it wasthe worst pizza I?ve ever got in a restaurant. The frozen French bread pizzas we get in the super market are much better. Longstory short we won?t be going back to the Local. They have lost our families business. Do yourself a favor and go somewhereelse. The sad part about last night?s experience was the owner was there running the restaurant. Read more

Off the beaten path so not crowded. Good food, clean place, staff was great. Ordered a pizza (about 18?) $20 and salad ($7) and... shared amongst our family of four. Leaving full and happy. Would definitely recommend. Read more

Arrived to the restaurant as they were opening. Sat down with my date and ordered some drinks when all the staff started to pop... bubble wrap while my date and I were talking. One employee was staring right at us grinning widely knowing he was interruptingconversation. Honestly baffled at the indecency of the staff. Our first time eating here and we're definitely planning on coming back! Steak Tips, salads, buffalo wings, and martini flight... were all perfect. I was a bit hesitant when I heard the veggie of the night was asparagus, as I've never been a fan, but turnsout, I've never had it cooked like this before.
