I've been here a few times and the staff is always wonderful, the place itself is always clean and beautiful and the rooftop is... an amazing place to sit on a nice day! Dinner has always been amazing but unfortunately I've not had the best experience withbrunch, as far as food goes. The first time they were newly open and the manager completely catered to us because of that whichwas greatly appreciated. I went again the other day in goes enough time had passed but my food was again completely overcooked. It's a bummer as they have an amazing menu! Read more

Reserved table online for 630 this evening. Was ready to go on arrival. Waitress was fantastic. Only one non-alcoholic beer... option, so that was somewhat lacking; especially with all the options now available. Very unique menu, lots of choices. Lobster Rangoon for starter, 12oz steak with frites and rainbow carrots. Sister had prime rib. For dessert we split theblueberry cake with lemon curd; delicious! Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service! Will definitely return! Read more

I was only in bangor for 3 days but I went to Kanu TWICE that's how good it was. The staff were super helpful and nice (shoutout... Dwayne!). The atmosphere of the restaurant can is whatever you want it to be. Elegant dining in the main room, sit at the bar,or for a unique experience in the winter in their rooftop igloos! The food was delicious and the drink specials were also topteir. If you're in the bangor area definitely stop and check it out. Reasonably priced too, $10-15 for a drink. The Mariospecial was my favorite ($10) and food >20 per person (without apps). Pictured is the Buffalo Cauliflower Brulee, soft pastrywith buffalo Cauliflower and toasted baugette, also they give you house made chips that go great with it too! Read more

I was slightly underwhelmed by Kanu. We had heard great things from friends and family so while we were out on a motorcycle ride... we decided to stop in for brunch. Everything was fine and the service was fantastic. We didn't make a reservation, which meantbeing sat in the corner of the first floor by the bar. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, even up until we left. Thiswas not a bad seat overall as you get to look into the kitchen, but the building is beautiful and the corner was a tad boring. It almost felt like not making a reservation was a bother, so we will not make that mistake again. Our server was so friendlyand the food came out very quickly. The food was not bad by any means, I got the Roast Beef Hash Benedict and my husband got theChicken and Waffles. We did find both meals over all very oniony. Read more

Just visited for the first time and all I can say is WOW! The atmosphere (inside and outdoor rooftop) has a sophistication you'd... find in a much larger city. The food and service were exceptional, will definitely be back again soon! ???????? Read more
