Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience as the host Paul was not accommodating and actually had an attitude when we... expressed our displeasure with our table. We had a group of 8 which was quite a large tab and a reservation was made a week inadvance. He gave us a table in the bar area which was very crowded and loud with people standing at the bar which was by ourtable. When we asked if we could get a different table he told us if we wanted to wait an hour maybe he could get us a table. We said we made a reservation a week prior he said it didn't matter. Terribly rude and dismissal. Not what we are use to atthis restaurant. We will not return anytime soon. Read more
First time dining here. Drove by several times over the years. Definitely a different vibe here. Feels rustic and colonial.... Dining in an historic house is interesting! Went on a Monday night and it was PACKED because wine bottles were 50% off! Themeal and service was very good! I enjoyed my caeser salad, Char entree, and pumpkin cheesecake with cinnamon ice cream ontop! Will definitely return for another good experience like the one I had! Read more

I really love this quaint resturant. We ate outside on the patio. They were alittle light staffed so not as attentive as I... would like but everything we had was excellent and the waitress was very friendly as well. The salmon on pita sandwich wasreally tasty. I will get that again. The fresh fruit side was really freshly cut fruit. Always enjoy our visits to thisresturant. Read more
I cannot say enough amazing things about this restaurant. The service is absolutely impeccable, from the manager, wait staff to... the chef, everyone is a perfect example of how a restaurant should be run. I got the steak frites and they were absolutelydelicious. The wine and drinks were also excellent. The outdoor atmosphere was pleasant and I felt like I was in a garden. Delicious food and great service, nothing has changed in the years I have been coming here. I had a burger and wanted my fries... well done. They seem to be the only establishment in NJ that seems to understand that and how to do it. I will be back againsoon. Read more
Excellent! The food and presentation at The Tewksbury Inn was perfect. This was our first visit and we enjoyed the food in a... wonderful outside dining experience with a very friendly staff. From the fries and buffalo wing appetizers to the excellentfilet mignon and salmon, we enjoyed every bite and the food was perfectly cooked. The deserts were also very good as we had theClassic strawberry cheesecake and the key lime pie. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant and it has now becomepart of my top ten in Jersey!
