Incredibly disappointed by our experience at Doe Bay Cafe, the restaurant was much daggier than the photos suggest, the booking... system is also appalling, we spent 2 hours on the phone trying to book with no answer and had to travel 50 min round trip to therestaurant only to be told that they didn’t answer the phone during service. Appalling service, very daggy facilities, definitely avoid. Read more

Fantastic food, and service was attentive and kind. We realized we lacked coffee for the next morning at our campsite in the... state park, and our server heard us and offered (we didn’t request) to send us on our way with ground coffee. Super nice thingto do. Read more

It has been nearly a year since visiting here and I still find myself reminiscing. We sat outside on a beautiful day with the... view of the bay. It felt very peaceful and relaxed. The food was delicious. I loved that the tea I was drinking was picked fromthe garden they had onsite. The fact that I am writing this a year later shows how much I enjoyed it! Read more

Unbelievably good. Like... some of the best breakfast food I have ever had. Everything on my plate was homemade or locally... sourced and out of this world. Home made cheddar biscuit and homemade spicy sausage. What more could you ask for. Outdoor patiois covered from the rain with beautiful views and sights. Wherever you are on the island, make a reservation for breakfast here, you won't be disappointed. Read more

We all enjoyed breakfast very much! Unfortunately our dinner experience was less impressive. Our dinner reservation was for just... before 7pm on a Sunday. Which is apparently too late in the week/evening if you'd like to select a meal rather than be offeredthe few remaining items. All of the dishes were very good! They just wouldn't have been our first (second, or even third) choicehad the full menu been available. Get it early! Read more

The food was fantastic. The salmon was perfectly done; sauce was amazing. They made mine gluten free without sacrificing any... flavor, or the integrity of the overall dish. The pie was just as good. And you know what was even better than the food? Theservice. The waitress with the glitter made us feel like we were her very favorite customers ever. We will be back. Read more

We loved being able to grab a restaurant quality meal for takeout. The food was hot, flavorful and fresh. I appreciate the shift... to allow takeout and this was one of the best executed takeout entree experiences. The menu changes often and our food has anice mix of cuisines including fresh seafood and fresh vegetables. Read more

Beautiful view. Tip: go before 7 especially on a Sunday as they sell out of a lot of items quickly And change their menu weekly.... Great service, everything was flavorful. The menu was all fresh and local and were good but needed just a few small changes tobe a five star rating for me. Plating was also beautiful. -Mushroom toast was a little too toasted. Bordering on Cajunstyle. -shrimp romesco sauce was so delish we skipped the infused oil and put our bread in this. But the shrimp were a bitsmall. Could have been larger and juicer. -halibut was beautiful fresh and flaky but turmeric was a weird spice for the fish.Kind of overpowered and make it a strange color. Great corn side. -Limited wine by the glass list. My dining parter doesn’tdrink so no point in a bottle. Pie was perfect texture, but would have been great w a side of homemade whipped cream. So easy tohave inside be too gelatinous or too loose this was perfect. The crust could have been flakier but was flavorful. If you’renot already, the secret is using ice cold vodka and not water to your crust + only butter, no shortening. It’ll make it10/10. Would return! Read more
