We like this place but the taste doesn?t stay consistent with the clear soup. Sometimes it takes like broth.. most times it like... like brown water? I think to make it stretch for the rest of the day. It?s completely gross and distasteful. Please stop andjust serve people what they pay for! Read more

The food and service here is excellent. Everything we have tried has been great (rice, noodles, sushi) but the Miso soup is the... surprise star! Read more

I wanted to try this as I want to try all Asian restaurants. I was most hungry and got 2 different rolls and some miso soup. I... did enjoy the 2 different rolls, one was an eel roll no cucumber and the other a baked seafood roll. I ate all of them both. They are it seems a family owned cozy little place. I would have like it to be a good bit cooler in the restaurant, other thanthat it was okie dokie for what it is. I would eat here now and again if I were in the neighborhood on a regular basis. It's a great Japanese place! Very fast. Prices are more reasonable than other sushi spots. We typically get takeout. The... restaurant seating is just basic, but what else do expect? You should definitely give Oishi a try. Read more

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Nice, clean place abd friendly staff. The food was cooked fresh and service was... good. Overall the food was good and I probably wouldn't go back but wouldn't be mad if I went back. The to go serving wasinteresting but works because food portions was definitely take sizes. Read more

Tucked in a far corner of a strip mall near a Cato clothing shop is a small gem of a Japanese restaurant. "Oishi" is a Japanese... word for "delicious" and the food certainly is. My first visit was on a Wednesday evening. Few inside diners but there was aconstant flow of take-out customers. The interior was kind of bare, with some Japanese murals on the wall. We ordered some beefyakisoba (fried noodles), shrimp yakimesi (fried rice) and one order of Phily Roll sushi (salmon, avocado and cream cheese). Thefried dishes were served in a clamshell take-home box even though we ate at the restaurant. All portions were generous andtasty. A good and economical meal, and worth looking for in the back corner of the strip mall. Read more
