Local town bakery that's been there forever. The coffees are good, breakfast wrap is delicious and the pastries are... amazing!!! Bread products look great too but haven't tried it. Locals are dropping by to grab a coffee and a breakfast intheir way to work. Staff and regulars are friendly and greeting clients. Fantastic experience! Read more
Funny thing is I feel bad give this place one star but they?ve been consecutively rude to both me and my wife. They mislabeled... (and over priced) 3 bottles of Avalon heavy whipping cream we bought. When we went to use them to make a desert it was obviousthat the bottles contained just table cream which is $2 a bottle cheaper. My wife phoned up and inquired and they basicallytold her to jump in a lake. I went down there and mentioned it and it was obvious they new there was a mistake. They were like?call the company, we aren?t responsible for what?s in the bottle? I was like ?you guys took the extra $6 bucks I spent on tablecream that you guys were advertising as whipped cream what about that?? And they were still obstinate about it an took noresponsibility. Very clean! Very friendly! and Very delicious! The food was great! Had the bacon and eggs with juice and bottled water with... hashbrowns. Total came to 35$ as I took out a friend who ordered same, but probably don't need the hashbrowns as they are an addon and big, comes with 2(Very greasy so if you're hung over get them!). Awesome store and worth the stop! I bought cinnamon buns for the family, haven't tried them yet but can say if they taste anything like they smell, they'll be amazing! Read more
Big Al's is a bakery/restaurant on the main Street of Oliver. We ordered scrambled eggs and toast and ate on the small outside... patio. The was brought to our table and came quickly. The whole wheat toast was excellent and we would order it again. Theeggs were quite overcooked. The breakfast also came with nice sliced tomatoes. We will come back but ask that the eggs not beso overcooked. The baking in the store looks good and is reasonably priced. Read more
Best hot dog buns!! Bakery can get quite busy so unless you're okay with waiting, come at an off time. Have yet to try the food... but everyone seemed to be enjoying! Has a deli counter as well, and ready made/local goods in the freezer. Read more
