I had a great experience here this summer. Beautiful location. It really felt special. I like that they had old wine barrels for... sale. Darcy at the desk made our stay 5/5, she was very charismatic, knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful. (Thank you) Ilook forward to coming back here. Read more

My husband and I stayed at Burrowing Owl for 3 nights. It was the highlight of our trip to Canada. The service was exceptional.... The breakfast was delicious and it is so nice how they bring it to your room in the morning. The pool is gorgeous and is heatedby their solar panels so it was such a delight to take a dip in the morning. We will 100% be back. Not to mention, they havedelicious wine! Read more

Burrowing owl has been making some of the best wine in the region for decades. I love the Sonora room restaurant. All of the... staff is so professional and accommodating, and the room itself has such an allure. Jeremy is so accommodating when he greetsyou at the front. Plan ahead though, not easy to get in here but when you make it through the doors, your experience will beworld-class. Read more

My husband and love love love the wines from burrowing owl. They are definitely the reason we went back this summer to buy more... however the tasting room service leaves a lot to be desired. As there was a wait for tasting we decided to skip that and buy thewine right away and my husband bought wines for us whilst I purchased a box for my friend to have it shipped to her. I was happywhen I walked in but the people serving are not happy not helpful particularly and def not even a smile AND just for buying thewine there are options to tip. Why? I walked to the counter and bought the wine? Why tip? I don?t understand that concept and Ididn?t see any service there on the desk for checking out not even a welcoming smile. Very disappointing attitude overall. Sorrybut that needs to change you have a great product but the staff are not doing it any service at all. Read more

Our server, Ingala and manager Jeremy were the life of the place, their friendly and professional attitudes paired well with the... expertly prepared dishes. The dining experience was far more positive than my companions? time at the sales centre. They werecurt and almost rude (hence, no sales were had that day from us). We had signed up for memberships at two other wineries butthat was not happening here. Thanks to the glorious experience at the Sonora Room, they more than made up for our initialdisappointment. Before leaving, Jeremy suggested we go op the viewing tower. It was worth the short climb after gorging thosecalories. Read more

If I can able to put zero or minus 5 I will do it. Front desk for tasting is non organizing. Put me on a waiting list and when I... came she increasing time one more time. For degustation one person(represented) for two visitors. Unacceptable. Very poormanagement skills. To making (creating fancy tasting room - its not enough.). Very bad service in restaurant as well. We orderedsoup to kid and waiting time was a 25 minutes. As I understood - owner doesn't care about this part - people eating all this andgood for him! If you have a chance - please drive thru and you can find smaller winery with better service and much better wineand you will not be disappointed. Read more

We love visiting burrowing owl for wine tastings and food. The tasting staff are friendly and helpful, and make the experience... fun for all. They are knowledgeable and passionate and you can learn a lot about wine from them. The price for a tasting is alsovery reasonable and all of it goes towards a conservation fund for burrowing owls. We also love the restaurant, and both timeswe have gone to the Sonora room we have had a great experience. The food was delicious and the view is spectacular. Our serverwas working towards his sommelier certification so he had lots of cool information to tel us about the wines. Overall we had avery pleasant evening. Read more
