I had a great experience with this establishment, food was great and the only thing I had a small problem with was having to go... downstairs for the bathroom but lots of restaurants have that and it isn?t much of a problem. THE WORST SERVING STAFF!! I am repulsed by the service and attitude my group received. Not only being in the service industry... from fine dining to cafes for 10 years but the attitude and the mannerless staff surprised me. I am a local and brought a groupof 11 people for dinner. We arrived and immediately the minor hosting seated us as if we were an inconvenience. Call me ?Karen?but asking to sit together and being told moving tables together is not tolerated was shocking when we were the only group onthe patio sitting at plastic chairs. When asking politely if we could inquire about putting the plastic tables together ratherthe host threw the menus on the table and walked away not even slightly exaggerating. Was my group having fun conversations andlaughing loud yes sue us for having sitting in our chairs and laughing! However being denied LIQUOR because the server thinks weare DRUNK never have I ever? half of our group was not even drinking first of all second of all and then fighting with out groupwhether we are capable to handle a single drink with dinner or not. Least to say we will never return and being a local I willmake sure to tell people how horrible service was. Read more

Unlike a lot of reviewers here, I actually had great service. Really, really great service. Everything else, though, was... regrettable. The price/value equation here is way off. Food prices are going up, but these prices are too high for food that isof such poor quality. The fish and chips were really probably the worst I've ever eaten. Rather than breaded, the fish wasreally just burnt in oil, essentially. Really, really unfortunate. The beer is also marginal. Sure, they're a brewery, Isuppose. But there's no interest in making beer here, just interest in calling themselves a brew-pub. It shows in theaverage-ness of the beer. Like the food, the beer is way too expensive for what it is. For the price of a pint, I received asleeve of very average beer. My advice to prospective patrons - don't let the look of the place fool you - it's not worth it. Myadvice to the restaurant - improve the quality of your food and sell your brewing equipment. You're not making interesting beeranyhow, and the price you're charging for it is costing you in reputation. Read more

I came into the restaurant to order take out. I understand it was busy, but no one came to greet us for a good 10 mins, even... after 2 employees saw us already. The girl who helped us order was very nice, she made it easy and fast. After we got back tothe hotel and opened the boxes, we realized our pork ribs was missing. We called them immediately but we were informed theyclose at 9pm so we would have to go back within 15 mins. Obviously we didn?t have time to, and we had to leave Oliver the nextmorning. The girl over the phone was also pretty nice, she apologized and asked for my information so that the manager couldcontact me the next day. However, we never got a message from them. No calls, no texts. The food tasted ok, not amazing but notbad. I?m sure many people will be happy with this restaurant, but it was just a disappointing experience for me. Read more

Such a Great vibe! Awesome friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable costs. Seafood chowder was Delicious and the chefs... salad was enormous- just the 1/2 size was 2 meals! Servers are knowledgeable and help with specific beverage choices based onlocally based wine and beer. Burgers, fish and chips and cauliflower bites were all a hit! Read more

Friendly service at a local bistro/pub. We ordered the beef dip and a pickle grilled cheese sandwich. The side soup was the... favorite -Thai curry with chicken rice, yum!! Read more

Friendly, small town pub with excellent value daily specials and big menu. Went with the prime rib burger since it was Monday... burger night and the patty was juicy, slightly charred on a toasted bun. My side greek salad was an extra charge, but worth itfor the big bowl of large cut vegetables and feta cheese. Virgin lime margarita was slushy and refreshing (4 flavour options andcan choose slushy or not). My partner had the same burger, but loaded with cheddar, bacon, and mushrooms (he would pick just oneor two of those next time) and sweet potatoe fries. The chipolte aoli dip was very strong barbeque flavour and went well withthe fries. Happy hour between 3 and 6, appetizers 2 for 1 after 8 pm.
