The chicken is very good. Ordering it is always some kind of nightmare. They don?t have any made and you have to guess what size... order you are allowed to order. If you guess wrong they just tell you no. Additionally, you can?t order the pieces you want ifyou get a bucket. I?ve never been to any chicken place that won?t let you order dark meat only. This is 1 mile from me and a great establishment. People are friendly and the food is delicious. I see some saying "when they... have chicken" but I have never NOT been able to get chicken or pizza so not sure when they are going in. Read more
I am giving this place the two stars because of their chicken. When they actually have chicken and it is relatively fresh, it is... some of the best fried chicken in the area. The chicken isn't dry and it has good flavor to it. Their breading stays nice andcrisp even when you have to reheat it later on. Their chicken tenders are a very generous size and they have an assortment ofsauces. But that is only when they actually have chicken available. I have gone to this location several times over the lastyear and I have only been successful in purchasing quality chicken during about 50% of my visits. If you are going out of yourway to get here, to me it isn't worth the likely chance that they will barely have any food available. Their sides usually looklike they have been sitting all day. The only side I have purchased was their jojos because that isn't too hard to mess up.Their jojos aren't anything to write home about. They don't have much flavor and they are often pretty soft with no crisp tothem. Many employees at this location have a major attitude problem. There was (maybe still is) one woman working behind thecounter that was rude to me every single time I went there. She had green hair and glasses. Her attitude was so nasty that Ileft before placing my order once before. They get mad if I have difficulty picking food out of their small selection of what'sleft (even if no one else is in the store) and they often rush you through your order (even if I am the only customer). I workedin the service industry for most of my life. I go out of my way to be nice to these people because I know how working these jobscan be and they still treated me like that. They were even worse to my dad. I have had a couple of nice cashiers but that wasonly like 2 people out of maybe 9 or 10. It's ridiculous how consistently rude the workers here are. Nice and clean, the breakfast waffles are very good, and the egg for the sandwiches is good too. Pizza was ready early in the... morning, so thumbs up. Hot chicken was not ready at 8 am but that is fine, because they had boxed fried chicken ready. Goodvariety of hot coffees. I liked the fact that I could get a small bag of salt for $3.00 for melting ice walk ways. Howconvenient, and a perfect size bag. Read more
