I like this little Italian restaurant. The service was excellent. There was no room at the bar so we sat at a table and drank... a beautiful caramel salt drink. Beautifully made, excellent drink for $8.00 we had a pizza appetizer, just wonderful. Thewaitress was very attentive. Parking was about 5 minutes away. If you are in Olmsted Falls you have to try this little gem. Read more

We love Matteos. Our go-to place. We had 8 people. We ate almost every appetizer. All delicious. Entrees. Soup and salad great.... Delicious fresh warm bread. Wine was good. We called in on our way and they accommodated us. We had 3 small children along. Theyordered and served us quickly. Brought kids food with appetizers. Read more

We tried this place for the first time last night for dinner (Thurs). We did not have reservations (which is a good idea for... next time) so we sat in bar area. Bar had 17 people in it and one guy was handling the bar and tables. He was all over the placeand did a great job of trying to handle it all. The host was an older gentleman who did not seem to do much of anything. Hisshirt was sloppy hanging out. We had to wait quite a bit for food but when it came it was fantastic. Based on the food and theatmosphere of the place (and one hoppin' bartender) we would return. We had veal parmigiana and it was so yum! The interior ofthe restaurant was very nice, clean and the decor was tasteful. Will return. Read more

We have been working our way through all the restaurants in the Olmsted falls area this year. Today's trip took us to... Matteo's. Had a reservation just to ensure we would have a table which seems it came in handy as there were a few large groupsalready seated when we arrived. Looking over the menu, there was a good mix of appetizers, salads, pizza, and quality Italianrestaurant options on the menu. We ordered the sauteed calmari and the meatballs as our appetizers. The calmari was preparedwell and was not over cooked or rubbery as calmari can get. Had a good flavor overall with the provided red sauce. Themeatballs were amazing! The blend of the cheese, red sauce, and ground meat blend worked extremely well in the dish. They werequite large and a good portion for 2-3 people. For entrees, we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, lemon butter chicken, andthe manicotti. The spaghetti and meatballs had the same meatballs as the appetizer, which paired really well with the, whatseemed to be freshly made, spaghetti noodles. The lemon butter chicken was prepared perfectly with the chicken being fork tenderwithout being overcooked and dry. Paired with linguine noodles and the lemon butter sauce, the dish worked well and was quitetasty. The manicotti was also quite excellent. The mix of the pasta shell with the ricotta filling and paired with a slightlysweet red sauce was perfect. For dessert, we ordered a slice of lemoncello cake and an order of cannoli to go so have not triedthem yet but they looked amazing. Overall, had good service through the whole visit. The one oddity, there seems to have been aslowdown/change somewhere in the chain of things. We ended up placing our drinks and appetizer order, getting ourdrinks/appetizers, and were partially through eating them before our server had come back to take our entree order. That was alittle odd but I noticed the same situation at other tables so this just might be standard here. This extended our overall Read more

My wife and I had dinner there tonight and the experience was very mediocre! Sat at a bar table to start, received waters right... away but then it took 5 minutes for her to come back and by that time we just moved to the bar hoping for better service! Being2 of 4 people at the bar, we figured service would be quicker, but the bartender wasn't interested in us apparently! 45 minutesinto our dining experience we have only had wine! We ordered lamb chops, flavor was fine but they were on the more well doneside! Entrees were good, it just took forever! 2 hrs in and we were finally done! Our bartender didn't seem interested in takingcare of us considering we had to wait and ask for everything! No dessert menu offered, he just set our check down and walkedaway! Our bill was high, we came to spend money and it was our 1st time there! The way our experience was, I will take mybusiness elsewhere! Read more

This Restaurant was Absolutely Delicious!!! We have been coming to Olmsted Falls for some time now and always wanted to try out... this restaurant. I don't know why we haven't sooner. From the appetizer Meatballs and Sausage Appetizer to the Chocolate CheeseCake dessert everything was perfect! We also had the Wedding Soup, some of the best Wedding soup I've had. The entries was thebest of all. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Chicken Matteo... both werr amazing. That Chicken Matteo was to die for, thelobster sauce it was sitting in was heavenly. Other than the great food the restaurant is super cute. No outdoor seating, and Ido recommend reservation because they are busy. The staff was very kind. Location there is perfect, there are shopping thingsnear buy and a great little ice-cream shop near there too that's one of our favorite! Will be back again Read more

Started with some drinks and they were delicious and pretty strong. Oven baked bruschetta was really good! (Coming from someone... who doesn't usually get bruschetta). Wedding soup was good as well but the Caesar salad was amazing. The lobster ravioli was oneof the best either of us has had and the chicken parm was a really good large meal. Got the cannolis to go and had them a whilelater and they too were also amazing. We found our new Italian restaurant. We sat in the bar area and service was great. Nexttime we're going to make a reservation and sit in the main section to see what it's like in there. Read more

So I showed up here on Ash Wednesday to get something to go. Understand that mass cooked fish can be iffy. This is not an iffy... piece of tilapia and risotto with broccoli. Now, to go dishes can be questionable but not this. Even the lining with aluminumfoil shows they understand to go food. The fish not over cooked and the risotto say awhile as I drove but still good. Bread andsoup tasty. A little pricey for 20 but enough for 2 if eaten with bread and salad/soup. Read more
