The food was pretty good, though my husband's burger was burnt to a crisp. The service was a little slow, and there were a lot... of bugs flying around. One landed in my empty cole slaw cup. It was gross. The house wine was good. I was disappointed youcouldn't modify one of their menu items I was interested in...a chicken quesadilla. They had a plain cheese and chicken one, butI like veggies. I just wanted it without onions. Read more

Went here and sat outside on the back patio one evening and had an incredible time! The atmosphere was perfect. We had a chicken... cesar wrap and chicken tenders, both with fries. Both meals were delicious. My boyfriend also had a blueberry cocktail Ibelieve, and he said it was incredible and tasted like dessert. Our server was incredibly friendly and patient. We?d love toreturn and dine here again! Read more

We have been wanting to try more local restaurants in the area so in our search for new restaurants, we discovered Moosehead... Hoof & ladder. From the get go, was very impressed. The decor/atmosphere was very inviting and welcoming. Menu has a very goodoverall selection of dishes that made it difficult to narrow down our choices. We ultimately started with the wild buffalorolls with the mild buffalo sauce as an appetizer. Easily some of the best deep fried rolls we have had at a restaurant. Chickenhad an excellent flavor and the outer shell was very well prepared and deep fried. The buffalo sauce was very good (it alsoserved as a great French fry sauce later in the meal) For my entree, I ordered the mooseberry salad with grilled chicken andcranberry vinaigrette. The strawberries, oranges, candied pecans and chicken complemented the salad extremely well. The sweetcranberry vinaigrette was the perfect pairing for me on the salad. It was a generous portion of mixed greens, fruit, andchicken. Will absolutely return and have several folks that we will want to introduce to this restaurant now as well. We lookforward to visiting again in the future. Read more

We were a large group and we were accommodated very nicely we had a reservation and the tables were set up for us we were given... glasses of ice water as soon as we sat down. We were waited on promptly and for there being I believe there was 13 of us thefood seemed to come out fairly quickly I believe we all enjoyed our meal I didn't hear any complaints several of us my selfincluded needed a take home box which was promptly offered we didn't have to wait around for our bill. For those of us who paidwith a card that was taken care quickly which was nice as those paying with cash were ready to go. After a long hot very hot95+° day The Moose Head was a nice relief and we didn't even have to ask for refill on the ice water. It was a nice way to endour trip to Olmstead Falls. Read more

A restaurant with lots of atmosphere because it?s in a very old fire station that has been nicely redone. It has lots of fire... department artifacts including the hose tower that fire fighters used to drain and dry their hoses after a fire. They also havea very nice patio overlooking the Rocky River gorge. The food is good and reasonably priced. Worth going there just to see theartifacts. Read more

Moosehead Hoof & Ladder ???????? Restaurant Olmsted Falls, Ohio, USA ???????? Sylvia 4-star = amazing As of June 2021, everyone... can enjoy but time is limited to 90minutes so other patrons can enjoy. The outdoor atmosphere, front & back patios, and thewhimsical decor in the front and back dining rooms make this place just fun and remind you this was once a firehouse. They offera variety of specialty handhelds that are their signature on a typical dish. The have quite a few mix drink specialties and afew craft beers. If your palate is tempted try one of their many desserts or daily made soups. The portions are good size withlots of homemade chips with delicious thick French onion dip. They are not afraid to add all the fixings for even more flavor. If your passing through, make a stop here. Read more
