I have patronized this establishment many many years....and have always found it to be a pleasant dining experience...... particularly during rush hours like lunch and early evening...the staff is a close knit family of three very niceindividuals...and very concientous of customer service and satisfaction. In Olney, there are Two Chinese Buffet Restaurants, each with it's own Character. China Wok Buffet is often overlooked due to... it's location and it's easy to miss as it lacks the Exposure of being in a Mall. While not as busy as China Capital acrossTown, China Wok has been a fixture in Richland County for nearly a Generation and still maintains it's Reputation for offering avariety of Lovingly prepared dishes to their Loyal Customers and Newcomers alike. One thing I will always remember is the timeI visited and heard a piano being played... not up in the Dining Room... it's music seemed to come from a hidden room. I askedthe Hostess who was playing it, and she explained that it was her son was practicing and learning Music Appreciation. That wasabout 10 years ago as I recall, and during my last visit during Lunch, I inquired about her son and if he was continuing hisMusic Education. As it turned out, she said he had completed the Music Course long ago... and was now studying Engineering atthe University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana... she misses him but yet is proud of his dedication to his Studies, and Icouldn't be more proud of him as an Admirer myself! I can still remember him as a young boy, receiving Customers as theyarrived in China Wok and escorting them to be seated... and then clearing and bussing tables in preparation for the next patronsto arrive... That young boy isn't escorting Customers in China Wok anymore...nor is he bussing tables...His Mother still is.She is so Humble and so kind in her Heart... and also Wise... I believe that in Mandarin she might be called "Wei Lin"... ...and the Man who will become an Engineer is Blessed to have his Mother's Love and Guidance, just as much as the Patrons of ChinaWok may still be Touched by her Grace and Carriage as she Serves us. Awesome food and great service. I've always liked going to China Wok. It's been a year since we've had any Chinese food... because we've been avoiding most public contact with people. I'm glad one of the first places we returned to was China Wok. Read more
Would give 0 stars if I could. Worst food experience I?ve ever had. Was told 50 minutes for pick up. Waited an hour and a half... after the 50 minutes and finally just got my money back. 0/10 Will NEVER go back. Went to McDonalds instead and saved $30 andonly waited 1 minute. Well worth the wait. This place is horrible. The waitress is always unfriendly. The food is always old and she won't make fresh unless the place is... packed. I ate there today and a lady clearly not in the right state of mind, was eating off the buffet with her fingers and theserving spoons. I was in complete disbelief. Then, the waitress didn't say a word to her. We just walked out. I included a photoas proof. Please excuse my daughter. Read more
Great take out experience, have dined in before and it has been good as well, soft drink is included in the meal.
