Has the ole diner feel. Unfortunately I grew up eating at the original Hovey's & as run down , no air conditioning just old... ceiling fans but it was always packed & people waiting. 100° outside & it didn't matter we still are their famous chili &burgers. Just not the same. Read more

Very disappointed time and time again. We come in once in a blue moon we try not to get this one waiter because she's very rude... and she never gets out order correct. I ordered the entree country fried steak with two eggs today for breakfast okay, comeswith 2 steaks and gravy so I added the eggs because that's not enough. She brings me 2 eggs which was cold as ice. And one steakpatty I'm thinking this is right I'm not in the mood to deal so I just eat it. Ate half of one egg and couldn't do it. I'msitting there thinking about saying something and she comes by asked me if I was done and said yeah didnt ask how my food was ornothing. This isn't the first in counter we've had with her. We decided this is the last time we'll be back until she is gone. Read more
Had the chicken noodles and mashed potatoes special which came with corn. I never eat corn, so I skipped that. But the rest was... absolutely terrible and I never thought I'd ever say that about this place. The worst meal I've ever had here. I hope everythingimproves when I go back. Read more
