Stopped to have lunch here before heading to see a show at the Olney Theater. It's a decent little place with a 'down home'... vibe. The menu isn't super diverse but there's enough options for most people. Staff were courteous and prompt; bathroom cleanand in good order. Tried this place for the first time recently. Service was great. Being a family with young children, we are a server's worst... nightmare. Our kids are well behaved, but there's always gonna be something. This time it was a full Shirley Temple spilled allover them and their both seat. The servers were a great help. This is still only a 4 star review because I think they canimprove a few things with the food. My prime rib was OK and reasonably priced. The cut was too lean even for an inexpensiveprime rib and the horseradish cream sauce was not good. My steamed spiced shrimp were served cold - that's a first in about 150times. But we dig the hometown vibe there and will be back soon, for sure! Read more
This is a great place in Olney for a wide array of food. Not everything is great but they do have fresh fish which always seems... to hit the mark. We recently came here for a quick bite. We weren?t super hungry so we shared some chicken wings and onionrings. The chicken wings here are very good, I highly recommend them, especially the old bay dry rub! My daughter got the plainpasta and I got a salad with Blue Cheese dressing. The dressing was a bit disappointing, didn?t have much of a taste so I gotsome of their peppercorn ranch which was much better. I ordered the crab bisque which was delicious. The fried oysters were really good as well. The Cesar salad was very fresh and... crisp. The loaded baked potato wasn?t really loaded and was pretty small. I had to use my own sour cream for the potatoesbecause what they sent seemed to be sour. Which is why I gave 3 stars ?? Read more
I really enjoyed eating at this place with my family, we order different types of platters, food was ok, nothing crazy,... excellent customer service, servers were very friendly and food came on time, sandwich called olney grilled if I?m not bad, wasreally good, I recommend this place for families and anyone. My niece recently moved to the area, and I wanted to take her and my son to a nice, local restaurant. Someone casually mentioned... nearby Olney Grille, so I looked up the reviews and thought, okay, let?s try it. WOW. What a pleasant surprise! Everything wassoooo tasty! I ordered The Hickory Pig, my son got the quesadillas, and my niece ordered the Bayou Shrimp and Brussels Sproutsapps. We also ordered a couple cocktails that were made perfectly (and I barely drink!)! Our server was also top notch.
