I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and it was to die for. Thecreamy butternut squash with gorgonzola and candied pecans was a flavor combo I didn't realize I needed in my life. We sat here for some appetizers and beer. It was a pleasant day with the sun left over from the summer days of July or August. ... Once seated it was nice, but service was very slow and never was offered refills on our drinks. Food was average but the rice... didn't seem to be cooked correctly and overall was under seasoned as well as the green beans that came with the fried oysters. Iwas really hoping for this to be better considering the prices. Read more
Great location. Patio seating was great until the sun came out and the umbrellas were not providing much shade. Service was... good, our server was very nice. Overall the food was okay, nothing remarkable for the high prices. I enjoyed the salmon Pâtéserved with fresh cucumbers, refreshing and light, while when spreading on the toast it was rich and buttery. Mussels wereperfect on a saffron broth. I ordered the seafood curry which was rich on seafood and well cooked lacking on spicy tasteuniquely identify with curry. My husband had the Halibut. He stated it was over cooked and lacked flavor. Our friends hadsimilar comments for their dishes. We shared a wonderful peach cobbler with ice cream and caramel sauce. We all concluded thatthe prices are too high for what they offer. Read more
I absolutely love this place. My husband and I stopped by here when we were driving through Olympia. We decided to walk along... the waterfront and then go to this restaurant, as it was highly rated. The food was delicious and the staffing was quick andaccommodating. They sat our 2 dogs with us on the patio and in a shaded area, as it was 90?during our visit. I had thedungeoness crab eggs benedict for breakfast, and it was delicious. I would definitely go back again. Read more
To start with the highlights, my husband and I went there for dinner this evening and had a terrific server, Kimberly, who was... very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy the view of the marina whether you dine inside or outside, and it's been cleanwhenever we've eaten there. We've been there during lunch and dinner on weekdays and on busy weekends. There's a decentselection of meat and seafood prepared pretty simply, with standard sides. This time we ordered a steak with green beans and abaked potato and a plate of grilled cod fish tacos and fries. The steak and sides were flavorful and cooked well for a flat topsteak, but there were a couple things that would have improved the tacos. Firstly, they were served with the sauce and pico degallo underneath the fish, which I've never seen anywhere else. This made the flour tortillas soggy. The tacos were also sat ontop of the fries, which then made the fries soggy right away. Flavor wise, we were satisfied with our orders, and a few easychanges would have made the tacos and fries a lot better. The food is familiar and reliable but not exciting, which is just fineif that's what you're looking for. Read more
1st visit: Not a bad joint! Water views, fantastic and genuine and attentive wait staff, and standard fare food. 2nd visit:... Found easy seating in the bar/lounge area and they have a bartender that gives just absolutely top notch service. Had the ribeyeand a cocktail that didn't disappoint. Read more
