Three of us went and we were hungry! They were not very busy, it was a Tuesday. We ordered two appetizers and three Sapporos.... We were off to a good start. I saw the ramen on the way to the table. The anticipation peeked when i saw the big pho sizedbowls. When they hit the table we all looked at each other... the bowls looked about 1/3 full. The portions seemed small. Our friend said it was the smallest bowl of ramen he has ever had... and he is from Japan! The flavor was ????. The porkcutlett was small in my ramen and a bit pink for my liking. Extra noodles is $2. I would suggest that for sure. That makesfor a $17+ lil bowl of ramen. Enjoy Read more

Execution for food: 4.5/5 Waitressing: 5/5 Manager: 1/5 Cons: 1) I wanted to take pictures for my girlfriend of my experience,... but was abruptly disrespected by the manager of ?video recording her cooking staff.? 2) Trying to resolve a billing concernwith the Manager. Publicly humiliated and announces everyone in the dinning hall my friend did not tip in his receipt, when youcan clearly see the cash tip on the table. 3) Tried to walk up to the serving counter to congratulate the chefs for theirexcellent cooking before we left. Manger snapped at my friend and I walking towards an UNLABELED designated STAFF ONLY boundarywalk way. Pros: Food was pretty good and flavorful. Waitresses were welcoming and inviting. Read more

Absolutely fabulous place for vegans! (And carnivores/omnivores) With the aromatic broth and shoyu or miso base the vegan ramen... ends up so rich and incredible. And a delicious list of add-ins: tofu, mushrooms, veggies, seaweed. Inventive craft cocktailmenu too and they're always rotating in some new Japanese alcohol. A metal fence around their outdoor seating provides a placeto lock bikes that doesn't block the sidewalk. Transit stops close by and Olympia's transit system is fare-free so why not skipthe parking? Great friendly service too. Read more

The best part about my ramen here was the pork belly, so I'd actually recommend getting a pork belly rice bowl instead of the... ramen if you go here. The tonkotsu broth didn't remind me of what I'm used to getting from ramen restaurants in Seattle orBellevue. The chashu is not the best. It's alright if it's what's close to you, but compared to any other ramen restaurant it'squite subpar. Read more

Food is delicious and fast, but portion is kind of small. It?s good that you make your own combinations of noodles. Mine was a... little salty probably because I chose miso as the base, but the pork belly was salty for my taste. Read more

The staff was incredibly friendly, quick to seat us, our food was to us VERY fast and everything tasted absolutelyamazing, and was very filling. This is going to be a regular spot for us for sure, looking forward to trying other combinationsof ramen. Read more

Although I am glad that there is a Ramen place in dowmtown oly, I would be misguiding someone if I said that this Ramen House... was spectacular. The portions were rather small, the service mediocre and the food was okay. I've definitely had much betterexperiences at other ramen joints. Read more
