Not a fan of slamming entrepreneurs, because I am one at heart also, but there is a time to be honest about your service and... product. I am almost certain that this food is "grocery store" bought quality, the taste was not phenomenal. You are going topay approximately $1 per tiny dumpling. I could go to COST-CO and purchase a family sized bag for $12 which would feed a familyof 4 for two days. You can't just smother it in cream cheese and curry and sell it at a 500% markup. I get it, establishmentshave to keep the lights on, but if the customer has no "perceived value" in the product or service, then it is doomed tofail. Please give customers value for the price, the tiny portions to extend your profit is not fooling anybody. In addition,if you are not passionate about your work, it may be a good Idea to consider a soft "exit" from the market. There is no shame init. I'm not sure if these are considered Russian or Alaskan dumplings but they were really good, and I'm picky when it comes to... food. We tried the potato dumplings and beet salad. The soupy liquid was a bit vinegary and sour but we thought maybe that's howit's supposed to be? I would have liked to try more but the price was good for just one meal per person. We also had the warmapple turnover which was mouth watering. Would have been great with ice cream. I liked the seating up stairs. I has a to goorder of fully loaded chicken dumplings which my friend liked. I also tried the Russian cake which was also scrumptious. Read more
Love this place! The woman who took our order was AMAZING! So thoughtful and helpful. We went there one night while in level 3... evacuation (fire season). They really made us feel comfortable and the perogies were stellar! Dessert was equally as good. Thank you for being so friendly Read more

My original 5 star review is below, but I've updated it since I've learned a bit about the owner. She makes her employees work a... 12 hour day with no one to spell them for 10 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. Then, when 1 of them requests time off for afamily matter, she fires them with no notice whatsoever. The owner is ridiculous. She's a horrible boss. I will never go hereagain. She doesn't know how to treat people. ------------------This place is awesome. The food was great and the service wasexcellent. I took my boss here for lunch today. He's never had Russian food before. He didn't know what to order and just askedthe staff to make him something good. We all followed suit. She served all of us the 12 piece loaded beef dumplings. Wow, thisplace rocks. She served us our meals with a smile and we all felt like we were being treated with love. The server was also thecook and the buss boy. It's a 1 person show in there and she handled it like a champ. She spoke Russian too and way better thanme. She sounds like it's her native language. We will definitely be going back. Read more

I would consider myself a dumpling connoisseur. I like dumplings from all cuisines, and all cultures, with all sorts of... toppings. What I do not like are frozen, bland, greasy dumplings. Sadly, these (loaded dumplings) were exactly what I do notlike. What you see pictured is what was tossed out. My concern is the nugget of *meat* on the inside. That was absolutelydisgusting.
