Highly recommend the tasting menu at this restaurant. At 75 the price point was excellent. I'm not a wine drinker myself, but... the wine pairing is a steal for an extra 30. It's almost like you lose out not getting it. This was our first time trying thisrestaurant and I was exceptionally pleased. Service was excellent. They were personable, professional and seemed like genuinelynice people. You could tell they loved working there which always makes for a better experience. If you keep talking to them andare friendly they might let you try something extra. No guarantees but they did a bonus for us for our chef tasting. The chefwe were told use to work at the grey plume restaurant which was iconic in Omaha before they closed due to covid. The chefClayton that was from there is supposed to be consulting for their new menu that is due to come out in October. Parking isavailable in a shared medium sized lot. It was very full when we were there but we still found parking. Looking forward toreturning to try the actual menu but also to do the next tasting. We were told it changes monthly. Read more

Great dinner spot. Service could have been better but I think server may have been new. Portions also could have been bigger but... it is what you expect for this kind of place. Will eat here again! Read more

Had our first dinner at A Foreign Taste tonight and we will definitely be back. We had a wonderful experience. We did the... chef's tasting menu and wine pairing and everything was delicious. It was also very personable with an explanation of each wineand why it was chosen. It was a great atmosphere for conversation and not too loud like I've found with lots of otherrestaurants. I would highly recommend trying it out. Read more

Such a great morning sipping on some coffee and sharing some great food. Read more

Delicious food and beverages with an amazing, open atmosphere! It was tranquil really, because they don’t overcrowd their... space. It’s much appreciated because it allows for a more sophisticated, romantic evening. The staff was great! The wines wetried were so delicious! The lobster Mac and cheese was the best I have ever had! They had warm rolls with compound butter thathave that homemade deliciousness. We ordered the fish of the day and a shrimp dish. These dishes were obviously thoroughlythought of and tested. Their presentation as well as taste were spot on! The only thing we felt could be improved was theespresso bread pudding was not quite up to the same par as the rest of the meal. Other than that, this dinner date wasperfection. Thank you! Read more

I want to applaud the owners, chef and staff at this newer venue in Omaha. They opened a couple months into the pandemic and it... appears their conviction to providing a detailed and delicious dining experience has not been interrupted. The food wasdelicious and full of flavor. Great presentation. Our waitress Sophie was knowledgeable about the meal options and we enjoyedall of her recommendations. There was a dinner party going on inside the restaurant while we were there so there was a touch toomuch noise but wine tends to make people laugh so it is to be expected. What really stuck out besides the quality andpresentation of the food, was the friendliness, attention to detail from the wait staff as well as their appearance and attire. This is def a 5 star for omaha….location is funky but well worth the drive. Also wish they had more vegetarian forwardoptions. They did accommodate with off menu options however. Read more
