We ordered through door dash! Everything was ice cold. Cheese not even melted. Taco placed in sauce so you couldn?t hand hold... taco. Tortilla on burrito was very thin. Tore as you picked it up. Taquitos were all piled on top of each other had guacamoleand cheese dropped on top looked microwaved, even the guacamole was runny. Very disappointed! Won?t go back! Great food, massive portions. The nacho fries are big enough to easily feed 2 people. The carnitas, machaca, and chile relleno... are great. 6 plates for 75 bucks. Great food, super value. Read more
Taco Tuesday was better portions than we expected and carne asada tacos were great! Eventing was tasty and very fresh.
I was disappointed..ordered Steak fajita..$11.99. No tomatoes..salsa or sour cream. One 12" wrap..how do you eat that? I ask if... they forgot..they said no..it's extra????? Read more
Went through the drive thru. They were very busy, so understand took longer as everything is cooked to order. I have had issues... with other locations, and gave this one a try.. benefit of doubt.. different area, different people. We will be returning.Quality of food was good, and amount you receive compared to cost is worth a longer wait for fresh food. Read more
DO Not waste your money! I had hoped this new restaurant in the Gretna area would be great but was terribly disappointed. The... food and service were horrible! The taco completely disintegrated when I tired to pick it up. Tried to eat it as a taco salad,but it was gross. The fried shell tasted like burnt oil. The chicken wasn't drained so each item we had with chicken got soggyin a pool of grease and water....GROSS! It was so bad we didn't finish anything. I hate spending money on bad food. This is my first time having Abelardos. I will be back for more! Ordered a carne asada taco, carnitas taco, beef burrito and a... carne asada burrito. My family and I loved our meals, the house made burrito tortillas were delicious. The asada taco was myfavorite, with good flavor and the pico, guacamole and onions were a nice compliment to the steak. None of our food was greasy,which was a nice surprise as I expected the beef to be greasy at least, but my son really enjoyed it (not often he says " oooh,this is so good!!") We ordered too much food for the 3 of us, so we now have lunch for tomorrow too! My two tacos were lessthan 6 dollars, which is either a big lunch or decent dinner meal. The restaurant interior itself was pretty basic, but wasclean and had lots of room for seating and included a salsa bar. The counter service was fast and friendly with food preparedquickly. I can see this place catching on once the word gets out- Gretna needs more quality restaurants and Abelardos is agreat fit. This place is a great lunch option with its drive thru window and fast service, and a solid dinner option if notwanting anything too fancy or expensive. Will I be back? Definitely. First time visit here. Went because of good reviews. Very disappointed. Ate in. Food very cold. Wish Mexican restaurants... wouldn't fill the plate with lettuce as a filler. Never gets eaten. Read more
