We loved the atmosphere of this place! The outdoor seating is lovely. We thought the chips and salsa were great! We didn’t... completely enjoy their margaritas. Calm atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Loved the ambiance, the music, etc. Would love to come back when it's more lively. All... day happy hour, so we got the 18oz margaritas which did not disappoint. We tried the salsa flight, not worth it in my opinion.The free house salsa was much better, ask for at least a couple baskets of chips because you don't get much and they don't comearound often. The food here was great! We got here on a Saturday night and it was packed. Despite the dinner rush we were seated quickly and... attended to right away. The mango margaritas here are excellent. This is the first time my wife and I have been to Copal. A friend of mine posted some pictures of their dinner from Copal on... Facebook and it looked so good we had to give it a try! The service was very good and the food was awesome. Probably the bestMexican Restaurant we have been to in Omaha this far. We started our evening with some Chicken Taquitos and my wife had aMargarita! We were also served chips and salsa to eat while we waited. The salsa was awesome! Great flavor and the right amountof heat to enjoy! The Taquitos were so good and were served with a guacamole salsa, pico, and cheese dip. For dinner my wifechose the Crunchy Ground Beef Tacos and I went with the Steak Tacos! These little guys packed some awesome flavor in each bite!I loved the simplicity of the steak tacos with steak, cilantro, and onion. I was just missing a line wedge to squeeze ontop! We were very impressed with the flavor and the service. To top it off, the price was very reasonable! Compared to otherMexican Restaurants in town, Copal tastes way better and priced according! Photos are from a combination of two trips to Copal. My boyfriend and I love this place so much that we come here almost every... weekend. We live just across the street, but it would be worth the drive if we didn't! We even tell our friends how much we loveit and invite them out with us here, too. We always get fantastic service and the food is always amazing. We've had Gustavo asa server multiple times and he is the s**t. The house lime margarita pitcher is the perfect amount for the two of us. I haven'thad any food item that I've disliked. The enchiladas and fajitas are our favorite. We hope to continue to enjoy Copal for yearsto come! It's our favorite Mexican restaurant in Omaha, hands down. Read more
First visit to Copal, and I was impressed. Margs were very good, fajitas and Birria tacos as well. Service was great by Jacob.... Guacamole was disappointing - it was clearly not fresh as it had turned gray bc of air exposure. Will go back and try moredishes. Read more
Great experience. Alex was a very attentive waiter. The food came out pretty quickly. Carne Asada was a bit overcooked. The hot... skillet pushed that steak to extra well done. It was chewy. My recommendation take the steak off earlier. Flatiron doesn't takelong to cook. Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita was on point and ????.!!! Great value overall. Will goo back again. Read more
