Firebirds is a "must go" for us when we are in Nebraska. The food is always incredibly delicious and the environment is fun and... social. Caitlin and the rest of the Firebirds team went above and beyond to ensure our evening was memorable. They are truly agreat representation of Midwest hospitality and the compassionate human spirit. This place is classy! We made a reservation and we’re checked in right away. First we started with the chicken tortilla soup,... Chicken was so flavorable!most the time chicken can be bland and and get lost inside the soup, all the spices were verypleasant. And perfect amount of spice. Then we had the Caesar salad! Omg best Iv ever had they had Spicy croutons with the saladsuch a great mix with the fresh in-house Caesar dressing. I do wish they would’ve waited to bring our main entry till after wewere done with our appetizers. Steak was very delicious with a butter crusted top. Read more

I came here for diner on Valentine's Day with my fiance and really was a great night. I had made a reservation for 9:30 and we... got a table immediately. It was also a booth one in the corner which was nice. The server was really nice and accommodating toall the requests. I ordered a grilled steak tenderloin salad and asked to switch out the mixed greens for spinach and tomatoesfor jicama. She definitely delivered on both of those. The salad was perfect! Steak cooked perfectly medium, very generousamount of spinach and jicama as well. The blue cheese and balsamic dressing went so well with everything on the plate. I reallyenjoyed this meal. My fiancee ordered the slow roasted prime rib also in medium. His was also cooked well and he said thatherbs and pepper crust really was good. For the side he got the broccoli which was also -no surpise- cooked just perfect. Verytender and just right. The meat went very well with the horseradish on the side as well. We also got the side of Southwest AuGratin potatoes to share. The cheesiness here was on point! It was also freshly baked because we saw the steam comingthrough. He also ordered the Siesta Sangria with Moscato and Mango Rum. This was one amazing drink! I could have had it in onesip; It was so smooth and just perfectly flavored. I'm not a fan of strong alcohol and this was very very nice. Read more

My server somewhat of a good job she did keep my glass full but some in the group she did not. Service did take sometime to... get our food.Lunch brunch burger was cooked to what I like. But, the loaded baked potato had so much salt on it was like takinga spoon full of salt and putting in my mouth. I got it replaced and went the tots much better. The manager did not come to seehow the food tasted. Was not offer by the server to take some off the bill. I got pictures to show how much salt was caked on.Thats way they only got two stars. My wife and I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago. The food was good and drinks were really good. For food we had... started the evening with the Deviled Eggs, man were they tasty! I would highly recommend. For the main course my wife selectedthe Pineapple Chicken and let me tell you, this chicken was super juicy! I was very impressed! I selected the Cilantro-GrilledChicken. I usually don’t pick chicken at restaurants because I like to try something. Out of the box. I picked this dishbecause it was listed as a “Specialty “ dish. It was honestly very good! I was impressed overall. The only “complaint”I have about the experience was it was freezing in the restaurant. I asked our waitress if they may be able to turn the heat upa touch or a/c down a little and she said “yeah, I wish.” Oh well, I blew it off and we wore our jackets. The waitress justacted like she didn’t want to be their. I get it, we all have those days, but when you are in customer experience you can’tlet it show. We honestly wanted to eat and get out at that point. I would give it another try after I am done exploring theplethora of other restaurants in the city! Read more

We (myself and three kids) stopped here for lunch after visiting Nebraska Medicine from out of town. This was a first visit for... us. We arrived about 11:25 am on May 5th, and there were only a couple cars in the lot. They had just opened at 11:00 am. Bynoon, the restaurant had filled up for the most part. If you're looking for a buzzing crowd for lunch, this is not it. Theenvironment is pretty low-key and cozy. They even have a fireplace going near the bar, which was great on a rainy day. Therewere small plates on the table when we arrived, which I had to ask our waitress about after she brought our drinks. They werefor complimentary bread and butter, which she then offered to bring out. This would be helpful to tell guests, as not everyoneis a "regular" and knows this when ordering food. Our food came out in a reasonable time. I do think it was a bit overpriced. It would be nice to see a lunch menu with more options, as there wasn't much to pick from, especially if you don't want beef orfish. I joked with my kids that I wish I could order from the kids menu. There was a good selection on there, and more "lunch"pricing, at $6 - $8 a meal. I ended up ordering the Ranch Rings, which was just a large stack of onion rings with ranch. Mydaughter's fish tacos were supposed to be without the coleslaw and Pico on top, but came with everything. She didn't want towait, so just scraped it all off. I LOVE that they had biodegradable straws for drinks. My kids thought that was the coolestthing also. We have had some rough experiences with the paper straws, so this was a great option to see being used in itsplace. Overall, a cool place. I would say it's a bit on the "upscale" side of restaurants for lunch. Side note: I asked thebartender when taking pictures if she wanted to be in my picture and she was so excited to be! It was fun to see, and she was sonice. I didn't catch her name, but she was wonderful! Read more

First time visiting Firebirds and it became my favorite immediately. The bar was set up beautifully. Clean open kitchen. Very... friendly service. Went with my family. Ordered wings and bacon deviled eggs for appetizers. Wings were cooked just right with avery tasty sauce; deviled eggs are the best we have ever tasted ! For entrees, we ordered garlic roasted sirloin, cajunsirloin, pineapple chicken, tacos. The steaks were marinated with so much flavor. We will definitely visit often. Highlyrecommend ! Read more

My husband really enjoys this steakhouse franchise so I was eager to try it as well. We made online reservations, and we’re... seated immediately upon arrival which was really nice. The server was friendly and gave me some great options for drinks. Shewas very prompt on her service too. My son enjoyed his steak and fries, and my husband really enjoyed his blue cheese steak andlobster. I on the other hand was somewhat not as impressed with my steak and shrimp for the price I paid. Everything tastednicely, but I felt it was a little over priced in my opinion. I defiantly will stay open minded and try again with a differentmenu item next time. Read more
