10/22/2022 Stopped by tonight for a meatball ???? submarine sandwich, it was ohhh so tasty. Kim had our sandwiches ready by the... time we paid for them. We also bought my wife's brother with us. We'll need to go back to Firehouse ???? before he returnshome. 4/18/2022 Today it was a delicious tuna sandwich. I've taken to the tuna sandwich, but still get the meatball sandwich???? ???? to switch things up. The crew is ways good to us and we appreciate them. February 15, 2022 Still love this place, wego there a couple times a week. Their rewards program is very good. Monday is double points day, and this Monday was triplepoints day for Valentines day. January 2020 This shop has been particularly good to us ever since we started going there. Theyalways come around while we are eating to make sure everything is OK. Today, one of my meatballs meet an untimely death andditched to the floor. When the staff member came around I mentioned in passing that one of my meatballs had flown the coop. They gave me another two meatballs. Now I call that going above and beyond and I didn't expect them to respond the way theydid. Thanks guys. PLUS one STAR. It is unusual for me to give a fast food place anything better than 4 stars, I mean come onit is a fast food place, but these guys Rock Big Time. Thanks again. July 2019 Really good food. I had the meatball sub and itwas delicious. The also give vets a free drink. The place is clean, the service was efficient and the people were friendly. I'mthinking I'll be back. Such a great experience- food is hot with fresh ingredients and loaded with toppings/meat. Lettuce is crisp, tomatoes are... juicy, onions are potent and meat is melt in the mouth moist. Fountain machine has a ton of options including fanta, barqs anddr. pepper. Cookies are bomb (recommend the sugar cookie). The employees are super friendly too! Read more
This is not the place to go for a good sandwich, you don't get what you pay for. For $9 I got the sandwich pictured below,... beside a screen shot of the same sandwich from their website. I realize that marketing pictures are always made to look perfectand what you get never actually looks the same, but these don't even remotely compare. There are so many good sandwich shopsaround to go to, no need to go here. I suggest Pickleman's, it's my go to place and will continue to be, I just thought I'd trysomething else for once and maybe add another place to my list of regular favorites, but this isn't it. At Pickleman's you stillpay $9 for a sandwich, but it's really a piled high, hearty sandwich that will fill you up, so you get good value for yourmoney. I contacted the restaurant to let them know of my dissatisfaction, and included the picture of my sandwich. The generalmanager called and left a message. As soon as I received the message, I called back just a few minutes later and was told thatshe wasn't in the store and they would have her call me when she got in later. That was a few days ago, I never got that callback. They don't take their sandwiches or their customer service very seriously. Read more
Doggone this food was better than expected. I?ve tried most places in town that offer an Italian sub... this one was one of the... best. I also enjoy their selection of 40+ hot and savory sauces that they have evaluated on a 1-10 hot scale. Additionally, Ilike the three options for size of sandwiches. Occasionally the service is a touch slow, so if you need freaky fast, selectyour establishment accordingly. The gal who took our order this day was an absolute delight. Truly best-in-class, which wasalso unexpected. Lastly, they have a ?future firefighters? eat free on Monday?s promotion, which is good on the family budget.We?ll be back again soon. PS - only note to management, if you have any choice, please go back to the old Coca-Cola machines...many establishments have gone away from the 1,000,000 selections & additives (lemon, vanilla, etc) both for speed and flavor.
