Very good breakfast spot. Point off for the weird instruction that we all had to order first before we could find a table. My... friend got the avocado toast and said it was very salt. I got the eggs Benedict with lox and bacon jam, and, although I ate itall and enjoyed it, the bacon jam was very sweet and overpowered the salmon. The $5 cold brew was just ok and a lot of ice for alot of money. You don?t need ice for a cold brew because, well, it?s brewed cold. Iced coffee needs ice but not cold brewnecessarily. Food was good. Service was fast. Bathrooms were clean. Found a table quickly enough. I would come back. Read more
I recommend this place - they do things a bit differently, but the food is very good and the setting is very nice and relaxed.... Service was also good. You order your food off the menu at the counter when you walk in, and then you find a place to sit. I hadthe Eggs Benedict, subbing in bacon for the salmon. Eggs were cooked soft as they should be, the hollandaise was very good, andthe bacon was cooked perfectly. My only minor gripe is that the local English muffins they use are very thick, so the bread toegg/bacon ratio was off. I would have liked to see muffins half as thick, and the dish would be better for it. My wife had thericotta pancakes, and they were wonderful! They came with cinnamon butter and fruit, and maple syrup. We had the mimosa, whichwas very good and went perfectly with the meal. Prices are about where a lot of other local brunch places are, and the food isgood enough that you don't feel like you overspent. We'll be back to try some more of the menu! Read more
Don't be deterred by the line at the front, it's easy to check for a table then order pretty quickly at the counter. It's a... small, well-curated menu, and you can review it online in advance if you feel rushed by ordering when you enter. Nice open airyspace, playful vibe, smooth service. Good coffee and enjoyed the food (crispy potatoes were delightfully indulgent), but Ipersonally found it very salty. Couldn't finish the Avocado Toast because the seasoning on top of the avocado spread was toostrong, but the poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the textures were just right, and there was a nice blend of flavors. No-regrets avocado toast, folks. An industrial-contemporary space with a creative menu: this is probably your next brunch spot.... Friendly staff. And here?s a fun fact: they?re farm-to-table forward! They get their free range eggs from a local farm as wellas their orange juice, herbs, etc. (People want to know this stuff, Good Lookin?. Really fun environment! Even though it gets very busy, it's quite spacious so it never felt packed. I got there at 9am and I... stood in line to order for about 15 minutes. The cashier who took my order was very friendly and attentive. My food wasdelivered pretty quickly. I ordered the Good Lookin' bowl with no feta. It was too sweet for my taste, most likely the balsamicflavor was what I wasn't into. A few pieces of the sweet potato weren't cooked and I couldn't eat them. Other than that it was agreat experience and I will absolutely be back to try other dishes. Read more
As soon as I picked up my carry out order, it smelled amazing. Didn't need to salt my own potatoes unlike at many other places... that serve them underseasoned. The pancakes were sweet and actually tasted very unique from other breakfast places in town andonce I added the butter and syrup- heavenly. My cinnamon role latte didn't just look really pretty but was delicious. That alonewas enough to make me want to come back. Read more
Tried Good Lookin for the first time today while we were waitin for our candles to cool from Dundee Candle Co. Anyways it was... awesome, it was very busy, you order at the counter when u first walk in then get a number and seat yourself. We had split thebreakfast burrito and had a latte and hot tea and a cinnamon roll. All were very good food came pretty fast and was delicious. Service was great and even met the owner who was very nice! We will be back for sure! Read more
Food was amazing! The chorizo gravy on my perfectly cooked chicken fried steak is the best I?ve had in a while. The Country... fried potatoes were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked crispy but soft on the inside. One of my favorite parts about thisis I can order n pay when I arrive, grab a number and just go sit at any table that?s open. you don?t have the pressure of awaitress attending to you. You are in control of getting your own water which tasted good (I hate water that taste liketapwater) all in all I would recommend and will be going back here. Read more
