I?m very upset with the aisle online option. I used it for the first time and only ordered about 12 items. I put my order in at... 2:00pm and it said it would be ready between 4:30 and 5:00. I got to the pickup around 4:40 and gave them my name and they saidit wasn?t ready yet so I had to go back around again in line. I waited about 30 min and they said my order was ?still beingshopped? it?s currently 5:33 and I?m still waiting. I?ve been here an hour. I could have been in and out of the store a longtime ago but figured it?d be so much quicker. Also while waiting in line I had my window down and was listening to the workersand they sound like they are just messing around and they were cussing a lot and weren?t being very efficient. This review is specifically for one of the staff members that works here. I believe her name is Tina. She is ALWAYS friendly and... smiling. She is never rushed and takes her time when my 7 year old asks her questions about random things in the store. I reallyappreciate her patience and friendliness with him. Light grocery shopping after a long day. 8p. Not a Checker in site-only Self Check out. I inquired w/ Self Check Out Assist. His... Reply, "Too many Call-in's tonight." During my shopping trip I went to Produce for Bananas & Apples. A tiny sign indicatingHoney Crisp Apples, but no price in site. I selected 4 small apples and a bunch of bananas. When I got to Self Check Out, Iplaced my 4 small Honey Crisp Apples on the scale, followed the Search Prompt Instructions to weigh them. No price indicateduntil they were weighed. 4 small Honey Crisp Apples rang up $7.10. I asked the Assistant to verify the cost w/ a Manager whichhe did. He Replied, "$7.10 was correct at $3.49 per pound." I have NEVER paid that much for any apple in my lifetime at anystore or Orchard for that matter. Really!? My 6 bananas weighed more and rang up $1.58. I do not work for HyVee-yet I checked myown groceries out, bagged them up and went home with doubt of ever shopping there again. Read more
FANTASTIC experience. Soooo much better than the horrendous way I was treated at tge Hy Vee on Cass Street, where Matt Strite... refused an exchange of bad wine even though I returned it within 30 min, receipt in hand. I was threatened with JAIL at the CassStreet Hy Vee. Also, I see my review there has disappeared. Hmmm Love this Hy Vee, tho. It's awesome! Read more
We got lunch meat, and cheese from the deli, and everyone there was very friendly and helpful!! When checking out, the lady... helping with self checkout was busy with a lot of customers, but still managed to not seem overwhelmed or stressed!! Read more

We used Hy-Vee on 156th & Maple for catering, floral, & bakery for our wedding. We could not have been more thrilled with the... customer service in the catering department. Tsan is one of the best in the business & many of our other vendors even told us soupon booking! Our food arrived in a timely manner & the whole team was very communicative every step of the way & with anychanges that came up. The catering department was by far the best communicator, but overall still absolutely a 5 star weddingpackage from hy-vee! We received SO many compliments on how gorgeously our flowers looked & Barb + her team in floral areabsolute ARTISTS! The cakes were so yummy & our grooms cake was especially adorable! We are so thankful for the wedding team at156th & maple helping us pull off our perfect day in so many massive & wonderful ways. Read more
Had everything I needed and wasn't crowded. Prices were ok, not great, not outrageous. The store was clean, as usual, and... festive, with holiday lights and decorations tastefully displayed. Employees were great, again, as usual, but they wereunderstaffed. My one chronic complaint with this location is that they seem reluctant to engage in the fuel promotions, asroutinely the discounts don't come off when checking out in the self-scan aisles. I appreciate the willingness of CustomerService to quickly and painlessly honor the discounts, but it leaves me wondering how many people don't notice or don't gothrough the extra step to get the discount advertised.
