Okay. The apple cider margarita was amazing!! The baked “scampi dip” was just a small bowl with holes in it for the shrimp... and cheese melted over the top so it’s not actually a “dip” or scampi, but tasted good. One star because, everything elseHorrible. My friend and I had reservations which were clearly not needed. I ordered the lobster tacos , when I asked if I couldNOT have the lobster beer battered I was informed that I could not because that was the only way they served the lobster. Iagreed and was immediately disappointed! My suspicion was confirmed! There was NO lobster present, just a nasty over friedbatter that had a metallic after taste most likely due to not changing the oil. HORRID. My friend had the crab cake salad. Thecrab cake was fried as well with the same result as the “lobster”. Menu looks amazing but food did not compete withdescription! Read more

Jams in the Old Market hit every mark of great dining—excellent service, great ambience and delicious food and drink. The... Skyscraper Vegetable Sandwich and Mule I had were both outstanding. And my husband loves their Coconut Chicken Salad. (I’m nota big fan of coconut flavor but they even make that palatable for the non-fan!) Read more

We looked at the Jams' & Power burritos for brunch (more like lunch) but asked our server, Randal, about the Chief's burrito... which varies. After the explanation, I chose the Chef's burrito brunch with potatoes and a Field Salad with balsamic andvinaigrette dressing. It appears the nuts (walnuts & pecans) we're roasted which added great flavors to more than compensate forstale croutons (try a few before your server dashes off). The burrito was FANTASTIC, in spite of the oversized onions. Thesweet BBQ pulled pork and zesty sauce complimented wonderfully. A truly great start to the weekend - thanks, Randal, 4.5overall!! Stopped in as we drove through Omaha. Had Sunday brunch and everything was outstanding! Braised short rib omelet, peanut butter... French toast, chicken and waffles. Everything was prepared perfectly, huge portions and fair prices. Will definitely return nexttime we’re in Omaha! Read more

We got the fried ravioli as an appetizer and the spicy margarita. Both were to die for. Then, I got the coconut shrimp salad as... my entree. Also, tasted so good. My dad got the Jam’s Mac n cheese. Also incredible. We were actually en route to South Dakotabut the food was the best food we had on our trip. 10/10 recommendation. Read more

AMAZING NACHOS & CHEESECAKE!!! While I was visiting town and I had dinner at Jams old Market. I sat at the bar and I had a... wonderful bartender. I ordered Nachos and it was a big portion and they were delicious! For dessert I had their amazingCheesecake. It was a great location in Downtown close to my hotel. I definitely recommend! Read more

Father’s Day brunch was pretty good here, but VERY slow. We sat down at 10:30 AM, ordered just two simple brunch entrees,... didn’t get food until 11:15 which was not ideal considering we had a toddler and baby with us. It took over 30 minutes to getour food from the time we ordered and there were quite a few open tables around us. We got the biscuits & gravy which was good, just needed more gravy, and maple bacon French toast that had a delicious peanut butter banana flavor. Our server was reallyfriendly and genuinely seemed to like her job. We appreciated her attentiveness, especially to our situation with twokiddos. It is a pricey brunch spot, you pay for the upscale dining experience. Only took away a star for the slow food. Read more

Very good experience here. Nice atmosphere, place was comfortable from all aspects. Waiter was helpful in ideas to choose from,... but not pushy about anything. Located in Omaha’s downtown Old Market just a block North of Howard Street. I ordered theHabanero Lobster Bisque to start. It was excellent. Had a bite to it, but for people who like a bite, it’s not that bad forheat. If you don’t care for spicy at all, this may have a bit more of a kick than you like. Over all, to me, I thought it wasexcellent, and would not hesitate to have it again if it were made for that day. For the main meal, I got the Midtown Meatloaf. The meatloaf was a bit different than I’m used to. I will say, the waiter did an excellent job at letting me know how theirmeatloaf was compared to what most in these parts are used to. Around here, you’ll typically find it’s cooked with ketchupon it, and generally some sort of brown sugar glaze, and then you can add more ketchup after it’s sliced on your plate. Thismeal is nothing like that, and I was fairly warned. However I still wanted to try it. There’s no ketchup, or glaze at all. It’s more like what I would consider a hamburger steak. Then they put a light brown gravy on it. So, it was a good meal, butnot like what I’m used to. I would most likely opt to move to other menu choices next time, as opposed to making it a“go-to” meal. It was good, but not near legendary in my book. However, this is more of a matter of my pallet choice, andwith all else I mentioned above, this was a 5 star visit, and well worth another stop.
