Our first visit, host wanted to seat us at a 6 person table (only 2 of us) so we asked for a booth, which was very comfortable... and spacious! Ashley was our server and was friendly. Coffee is good, but not unique. I ordered carnita skillet with fruit, Nogluten-free bread available. Skillet was made fresh and was tasty! Spouse ordered eggs Benedict with pancakes and added a sideof corned beef hash(extra charge), which was all made fresh and yummy! Restaurant was clean and unique, reminded me of a cleanCafe you might see in Las Vegas, down to earth, good from scratch made food! Will visit again and worth a try if you haven'tbeen there. 180th & Q - ordered online. I went to the TOGO order stand inside, manager and staff just kept walking by without asking if I... had been helped or not. My order was right on the counter, ready. So then I finally asked someone that had been standing thereif I could pay for my food. Cooks did a great job, food was fantastic. The other staff including manager/supervisor - ruin it. Read more

Subject: Food Poisoning. Something was different from my first visit to Jimmy's Egg located in Welch Plaza near 180th and Q... Streets. The waitress was not smiling when she greeted us, nor did she seem to be very friendly when she took our order. Iordered biscuits and gravy, two eggs, hash browns and bacon. My friend ordered the country omelet and also biscuits and gravy. After some time our food arrived but there was a mix up because the biscuits and gravy were not served. I had to remind herabout it which she promptly fetched from the kitchen. The Food was disappointing. It was nothing like the fresh and deliciousfood we had been served on our previous visit. This time the bacon was tough and greasy. It was overcooked and yet showed nosigns of crunchiness or the char you expect when frying bacon. *The only conclusion is that the bacon was overcooked in themicrowave! I had the same disappointment with the hash browns. They were chewy and greasy with no fresh potato flavor. Thehash browns were not the golden color with a bit crispy crunch. Conclusion: The hash browns had also been reheated andovercooked in the microwave. The gravy with the biscuits was just bland and if it were not for all the salt there would havebeen no flavor at all. *Worst of all, both me and my friend experienced symptoms of food poisoning very shortly after eating atJimmy's. She told me she had made 4 or 5 urgent visits to the restroom and I had a similar experience. I will never go back toJimmy's Egg located near S. 180th and Q Street. Giving Jimmy's Egg one star is being far too generous. I wish I could give theplace zero stars. Read more

The food and service are both severely lacking. The chicken fried steak had been hammered to an eighth inch thick and that was... at the thickest part (see photos). The three egg omelet was smaller than most two egg omelets. The gravy had been watered down. The overall appearance is the they are trying to cut cost by serving inferior foods for regular prices. The wait staff alsoweren't smiling or taking pride in the work. Sorry Jimmy, but I won't be back! Read more
