I really wanted to love my trip to Julio?s because it is close to home and there are few restaurants in this part of town. Our... waitress, V, made it a great experience. She was friendly, available without hovering and gave great recommendations uponrequest. V exuded joy and is enough reason to go back! The fish tacos were also tasty. Read more

Waited a month to visit in hopes of ironing kinks we had heard there were. Unfortunately, experience wasn?t great. We sat on... the patio and got chips salsa quickly (half corn half fried flour). This was the best part of the time there. We requested allcorn and never got them. We ordered the black bean stogies appetizer, which looked great but was over cooked with burnttortilla and lots of hard bean bites. We never got plates for our appetizer, silverware, or napkins. Thank goodness we had ourown wipes which we used to wipe down the table and our hands. I will say what they?ve done with the place looks phenomenal. Theinterior looked great, excellent tv setup, and a nice outdoor patio. Read more

Great atmosphere with a ton of booths and free flour chips with salsa! They offer many of the old favorites with a more modern... glow-up (including their amazing rice)! Service was fast and incredibly friendly! Read more

Such a disappointment. I grew up eating at Julio?s and this is not it. My friend and I ordered the same thing, Cajun chicken... nachos, and the product was vastly different. One of them was very flavorful with shredded chicken. The other, these huge chunksof flavorless, dry, Unappetizing pieces of chicken that no doubt came from a freezer? maybe 15 chips; and a heaping cup of Sourcream (see pics). So gross. When I was asked ?how are the nachos? I was honest. The waiter said in response to my opinion of thechicken ?yeah I thought that too.? I said I would take it home to see if my kids might want it and his response ?yeah kids eatanything.? Seriously?? Guess what? My kids wouldn?t eat it. It?s in the trash. I tipped the servers even though they seemedpreoccupied with their social lives. A lot of work to do. May not return. Good luck. Read more

I'm so excited that it's back, grew up in the 80s and 90s going to the one on 13th St... however a little disappointed.... Enchilada float was good (but not great), I ordered the double which left no room for the "float"...beans and rice not so good(rice might have been great value brand). Queso was good but not great (I liked the bacon "shred")... the salsa was more likepasta sauce (but my wife liked the flavor). Opinions vary, just not the Julio's I remember. Of note, our waiter RJ wasfantastic. Read more
