My family loves to have lamar's donuts and coffee. We tried to visit once a week. However, I am not that satisfied with the... overall hygiene of the store. The floors are sticky and I saw donuts all over the floor. I was the only customer especiallyduring late afternoon but the staffs seemed not caring about managing the store. Also, I tried to use my rewards cards and didnot work well and what the staff reacted was quite inappropriate. She giggled at me without giving me an explanation of why therewards card is not working. Not a great experience. My kids still wanted to go but I am hesistant. Read more
I was smart and ordered online. I was so happy I wouldn?t need to stand in line. Of course when we got there, there wasn?t a... line. However our order was not ready when we arrived. Since there was no line they quickly filled it. We paid for it and wentto our car. As we were sitting there my husband realized we paid for the order twice. Once when we ordered online and when theyfilled the order. There is an up charge to ordering online, fair enough if I don?t have to stand in a long line. The differencewas about $7. The manager refunded our credit card for the order that we paid for in-house and then gave us $7 in cash. Verygood customer service based on an error. While I don?t know if we will order online again we appreciated how they handled theerror. As to why we didn?t question why we were being charged twice we really didn?t think about. This was our first time trying this place and it did not disappoint. There was a little bit of a wait but it was worth it. The... donuts are amazing. We also tried the coffee but we weren't a fan of it. It was really sweet and almost tasted like a milk shakeversus coffee. If you are wanting good donuts I would definitely recommend going. Read more

I consider this the best donut shop in Omaha. They definitely make the best plain glazed donut I have ever had. Their apple... fritters are also really good. They may lack the crazy donuts with cereal and whatever the new places are doing, but they don'tneed it, they are just that good. And sign up for their club. You'll get a free donut on your birthday! The donuts, if fresh, are amazing. The problem is the handful of times I've hit the west Harrison st one in Omaha the... afternoon/evening selection is limited and usually stale. Today the Bismarck was great, also the size of the small coffee wasperfect. What was not is the temperature of coffee was cool and taste stale/ a bit of a chicory flavor. For a $3 cup of blackcoffee, I'd expect fresher. If I were a morning person, I'd likely have a different opinion! Read more
I love this place. Quality, fresh donuts that are made in-house. They are open into the afternoon but their donut selection... dwindles as the day carries on (a testament to how much people love their donuts). There is almost always a line at thedrive-thru window and a line at the counter; but both lines always move quickly. Read more
We?ve noticed the world is discontinuing the sour cream donut. No longer at Winchells, Krispy Kreme? and I do not believe Dunkin... ever had one. So we went on a search for more. A quick Google search turned into a 40 minute drive to a part of Omaha that isquite lovely albeit unfamiliar. And behold. The most delectable of all sour cream donuts lives at LaMar?s!
