The care of the kitchen using real butter & olive oil is five stars alone but the taste of the food & peaceful atmosphere made... it ten stars. Read more

The space is neat and well laid out for a cafe/remote work space. Service was average, neither overly great nor deeply... disappointing. The coffee is a solid 4.5 stars. The latte and cortado were delicious and started the meal on a highnote. Unfortunately, the headstart provided by the coffee vanished as soon as the food arrived. The quiche was overly salted tothe point it wasn't entirely edible. Not only that, but the side of arugula salad was overdressed and underseasoned. Neitheritem was finished. The rosemary ham sandwich was a battle to make it through. The cheese was low quality, the ham was barelythere, the arugula was present but mixed with wilted or liquefied pieces, and the bread tested the strength of my teeth. I likea good chew in ciabatta, but it was rough. But even with all that, there's potential for a good sandwich. Except the amount ofdijon mustard on the sandwich overpowered any hopes of tasting anything but the stinging spice in my mouth and nasal cavity. Thechips on the side were just plain potato chips like any grocery store would carry. All said, I won't be back as there are othercoffee shops with equally as good coffee, and the food wasn't good enough to finish despite the high cost. Read more

Update: Returned today. Had the toastie again, same result. Saw someone else post about it raving about it and was wondering if... maybe I was missing something, but it remains a 4 (which is still good but just wasn't where I thought it was going to go and myprevious review remains correct from my point of view) The farro salad I give a 5 star. It was nice, light and something Idon't see often. I could have this all the time. Their yogurt parfait i give a 4.5 star. Very solid offering. Everything isbalanced. The portion is small, but it's a delicious light option. Below is the recipe from the first visit A beautiful brightand airy restaurant to have brunch at, though they also serve dinner which we need to try next. Chai 4 stars - you must reallylove Cinnamon. We felt like it was a bit overly poured on but you can probably ask for less in the future if you think its toomuch of a garnish. Toastie 4 stars It's their breakfast sandwich, I loved all the different components I just felt it wasn'tbalanced for bread to filling ratio. Blueberry sourdough pancakes 3.75 stars They were decent but for myself, I just didn'tprefer the sourdough part of it. If you like sour pancakes though this might be for you. Eggs polenta 5 star I really enjoyedthe flavor combination on this dish. It's not a very filling dish, but for myself it's the perfect portions since I don't eatthat much. If you're a bigger eater you might need something else to go with it. They have different baked goods. You can go upto the counter and it's around the corner on your right. Lots of cafes have water that you go up and get yourself.... here theywill bring you a carafe to your table. Parking is available in the back, they have doors from the back to go into therestaurant, but one of the side doors is an exit only. Read more

We wanted to try some new place for brunch and this place was among top rated brunch restaurants. It’s inside Dundee theater... with a nice setup. We loved the ambience and art work. There was plenty of space inside. Customer is required to wear maskduring the interaction at the reception. We ordered eggie, toastie and hummus along with two lattes. Food was delicious andfulfilling. Service was fast. Definitely worth a visit. Read more

First time having Lola’s brunch in Dundee, and it was fantastic! I got the spinach and goat cheese frittata with a side of... fruit, a cortado (espresso with milk foam) and split the yogurt parfait. Others got the “toastie” breakfast sandwich, bananabread, and brioche with jam. Our service was incredible! We were a party of 4 and seated right away. Our waitress was friendlyand on top of it, and our food came out quickly. All of the food we would get again. The banana bread was awesome - $3 for a3” thick slice! And even my 7-year-old couldn’t stop eating my spinach and goat cheese frittata! Plus the vibe inside isfantastic. Jazz music and full of lush green plants. Definitely not the last time we’ll stop by here for brunch! They’re noton Facebook but they’re on Instagram @lolasomaha. Read more
