This was a great dinner. I highly recommend the lobster cargo. Amazing blend of buttery flavors, so decadent ???? Our... server/bartender made excellent suggestions and cocktails. The mac n cheese was heavenly. I prefer grass fed/finished steaks tocorn fed but the steaks were good, if perhaps a little tougher than you would expect from a steakhouse. Went out tonight to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and my goodness, we we’re not disappointed. Service was amazing, food... was beyond incredible, and it was an overall wonderful experience. Our waiters were friendly and knowledgeable and didn’thesitate to talk up any item on the menu. They recommended the Lobster Cargot and it was absolutely to die for. Our cocktailswere perfectly crafted and paired well with our food. The 6oz fillet I ordered literally melted in my mouth! Hands down the beststeak I’ve ever been served. The general manager even stopped by our table to check on us and gave us a cute box of chocolatesto celebrate our occasion. Will absolutely be here again and have already recommended to friends!! My fiancé and I had reservations here on a Saturday evening. When we arrived, the table was ready immediately with no... waiting. After being seated, we were approached by our waiter who explained in great detail how the food was prepared and whatlevel of meat it is (prime of course). He was very attentive to questions and always had the answers. He also had excellent tipson the wine selections. We had another waiter who took our order and did an excellent job answering questions about additionpreparation for our meals. Also, this was night I actually proposed to my now finance. After she said yes, several members ofthe restaurant came by and congratulated us on the engagement. Overall, this was the best dining experience we have had todate. I visited Omaha this week and I was really looking forward to having some of those famous Nebraska steaks! Was not disappointed,... steak was cooked on point. Nice place good food and a bit pricey but totally worth it. Read more
Terrific restaurant in every regard. Great menu and facility, like an old traditional NYC or Chicago. Booth seating was private... and very comfortable. Every item we selected was terrific. Steak was amoung the best as was the seafood. Waiter was friendlyefficient and very knowledgeable. Employed team serving very effectively with every member very pleasant. Visited Mahogany Prime Steakhouse for a special occasion on our trip to Omaha. I loved the location of the restaurant and the... atmosphere inside, very nice! We were treated extremely good by the staff. They sat us at a private dining table next to thewine bottles. Had the manager come introduce himself to us and presented us with a little gift of chocolates. All the staff wetalked to and met were nice and mannered. Especially our servers, I wish I had better memory to do name call-outs but we hadboth a male and female server. For the food it was amazing. I'll start off by saying the off-menu special Japanese Wagyu cookedmedium rare was the best steak I've ever had, better than the other Wagyu steaks I've tried before. It literally melted in mymouth, juicy, marbled and cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of seasoning. The server who brought out the steak willeven wait for you to make that first cut into it and check with a small flashlight if its cooked to your liking. It is a morepricy steak at $150 for 5oz but I fully recommend it to any steak lovers who have never tasted Japanese Wagyu. Okay now for allthe other foods. We started off with Fried Calamari as a appetizer which I really liked. The Mango Chile Mojo sauce was a niceaddition to it. It can be a powerful sweet/sour taste, so I only did little dips into the sauce. For the other main meal we wentwith Seared Filet Tips, which I was told was good, the mushrooms in it were very yummy and the filet bite sizes. We also decidedto get 2 shared sides, being Steak Fries and Mac & Cheese. Both were delicious. Lastly for dessert we went with the fantasticCreme Brulee which is always a favorite of mine. Overall I'm glad I chose Mahogany for the special night. It didn't disappointin the slightest. I think next time I come out to Omaha I want to sit in their outside dining next to a stone fireplace theyhave. Oh. My. Lanta. This was such an amazing experience. The place is dark which gave a cool ambiance. Our server/bartender was very... attentive and friendly. We didn’t call for a reservation so be sure you do that if you want to sit at a table or have a largerparty than two. We got lucky with open spots at the bar and full service. Now to the food- what we all really wanna hearabout. Dude. GET THE SHRIMP COCKTAIL. Hands down the best part of our entire meal. It’s not those tiny salad shrimps in alittle cup of cocktail sauce. You get like 6 large shrimps and no joke they’re the best shrimp I’ve ever EVER had. Thick,and actually tasty. Got a prime rib along with a lobster tail and the crab legs. Dined at Mahogany for a friend's birthday. This was my first experience here and I was tremendously impressed. We started with... the Lobster Cargot and Tenderloin on Toast Points for appetizers, the Lobster Cargot made the night! For dinner, I had the NewYork strip that was perfectly prepared while my girlfriend's Ribeye was exquisite. We enjoyed asparagus and steak fries for oursides.
