We stopped in yesterday to try one of their Chicago style pies. We are fans! Lots of good fillings with a great crust - no soggy... bottoms here. We added a salad with our pie. The deep dish pizza is what we came for, and it did not disappoint! Neither did the salad or breadsticks. Came here for a late... lunch and ordered ahead over the phone since we heard that the deep dish pizzas take about 30 minutes to bake. The food wasready when we got there after 20 minutes, and everything was fresh! We got a 12" deep dish Veggie pizza, and it was beautifuland loaded! Loaded with cheese and sauce and fresh veggies. My fiance and his dad both really loved it! I tried a piece too andit was good! The sauce had a little special something to it - little extra flavor - I don't know what, but it went really wellwith everything else. Nice fresh pizza dough too. I ordered the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken (dressing on the side), and itwas really nice and refreshing. Really generous serving size - abundance of veggies, and right amount of chicken. Loved thepepperoncinis even plain, haha. The dressing was really refreshing too. I asked for the breadsticks to come at the end sothey'd be fresh, and it was exactly that! This is my favorite Chicago style pizza place in Omaha, and the only place that makes the double crust pie style. It has always... been delicious, and the staff is great. They have a full bar for your enjoyment if you are dining in. This Chicago style pizzais also great to take home. Read more
You can get the deep dish pizza for $15 each. It's a good value! It's got a great cheese pull and is pretty loaded with... toppings. We ordered one that was vegetarian and one that wasn't, and I preferred the non veg. By the looks I thought it wouldhave been the other way around. The meat was decently thick. The veg was missing a little something for me Service was friendlyenough, but pretty standard. Parking is available in a large shared lot. Read more
The pizza is absolutely wonderful. It's a delight. It's so good. I'm a Chicagoan and can't find good pizza that reminds me of... home here in Omaha, but this reminds me of Lou Malnatis. Get the Flying Tomato (I add pepperoni) or the House. You'll enjoyit. They do a great job. A sidebar: it takes almost an hour to bake a Chicago style pizza. That's how long it takes to cookthis type of food. They do it in about 45 mins. This is normal. This is what you should expect. It's absolutely worth the shortwait. Read more
