The Asiago Crusted Chicken dish was pretty good, but it was a smaller portion than I get at similar restaurants charging 22-ish... dollars. While I was pleased that the food arrived in a single-digit number of minutes, it was also explained why the chickenwas a little tough (being under a heat lamp or something similar). I took my family and wanted to sit outside but they said out party of 7 was too big so we had to sit inside. Calamari app was... only big enough for each person to get 2 pieces. I would have expected more in an order or the waitress to suggest we pick acouple apps. Kids Mac and cheese didn't come with any vegetable side (incomplete meal). My steak sandwich was good and wifeand daughter got shrimp and risotto and also liked it. Overall price and experience didn't match so will not be going back. Read more
I cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing Sunday brunch, bottomless mimosas, fantastic drinks and fantastic service. Ask for... Sloan at the bar. He is great at what he does and his drinks are first rate. Updated 5/25 Tom is equally a badass! My favoritesuburban restaurant. Read more
Beautiful setting, cute name, it looks like a nice place to have a drink. (We didn't order any drinks tonight though) I... appreciate you can park either in the front or the back. It's in a medium size shared parking lot. Fried Brie 4 stars It'spretty standard, though the outside is quite nice and crispy. It cooled off pretty fast. Crispy branzino 3 stars The couscouswas delicious, but this fish was a definite skip for me. Not crispy and very bland. The accompaniments were much better than themain dish which is why a 3 and not a 2. Peppered filet 3 stars We found it lacking in flavor. We did speak to our server whoinformed us that they do not add a lot of salt to their food. Crispy duck 5 stars Lightly crispy and flavorful (no salt missinghere, but also not salty. The risotto was also very well balanced. We found the two main meats missing salt whereas the thirdwas fine. Our server explained, as I said in the peppered filet notes that they do not salt their food very much. I wouldrecommend they have salt and pepper on the table (we were sitting in the patio area) or offer it to the client when serving upthese dishes. Service started off strong but when we told them about the issues the initial response was a bit defensive. Latersomeone else came and assured us they would like into it and take our feedback into consideration. Had it been left with theinitial response I might have given this a 3 because I would not want to deal with a restaurant that cannot take feedback, butthey did seem to listen to us after and hopefully will make some changes. I look forward to returning at some point to see ifthey do. I also ordered a Caprese salad too go. 4 stars The balsamic dressing was excellent. There were no napkins, forks oranything to eat it with however. I'm not sure if that's standard or you need to ask for it, but if you are grabbing a lunch togo and not eat at your home, you might want to be prepared and have these items or else skip this place. This was my first time at Stokin Goat. Nice atmosphere, causal dress which is nice, service was good. I order an Bloody Mary was... good. Appetizer Rum Jerk wings(Pretty good, but hubby didn't enjoy them), Greek salad(I really enjoyed. You got a olive, tomato,and feta with each bite), and main course Garlic Shrimp Risotto(I added the asparagus. I think it was a good risotto being itwas my 1st time having it.) Read more
We loved this place! We reserved a table ahead of time and I was a bit nervous we wouldn’t have it by the reservation time.... The place is bustling around 6PM. We were seated on time, the service was a little slow due to the robust crowd there, but thewaiter was very friendly. We ordered the pepper fillet, fried Brie, lamb shank, and bread pudding along with beer and cocktails!It was all SO delicious, the fillet came with perfectly cooked asparagus. My spouse said the potatoes and the lamb were to diefor! And the dessert was fantastic. Although it was tricky to flag down the waiter at times (because it was so busy), the foodand atmosphere were amazing! We can’t wait to go back! Great place! Read more
Stopped by for brunch. Food was brought out quickly but hardly warm. This was quickly rectified by the staff and a new meal... prepared. The Benedict dish was very good and flavorful. Eggs were poached perfectly. Hash browns are meh. Will go back forsure. Read more
Although the food was not very seasoned the atmosphere of this place is beautiful. I didn’t like how I had to add salt and... pepper to my pasta to give it a little more flavor , the chicken also taste like it was not seasoned but the mashed potatoeswere very good .
