11/19/2022 I went to the AppleBee's in Oneonta today with my gf, I ordered a burger and she ordered a chicken sandwich. After... waiting 50 minutes our orders came out, they were cold, hers was wrong and mine also was supposed to come with fries but camewith less than a handful of fries. We were patient with them as mistakes happen and staff issues are present all over, so wewaited about another half hour and the food came out wrong again, the final time they brought the food out, some of it was stillcold and when I went to take a bite into the burger, it was so raw blood was dripping all over the plate. They were kind enoughto not charge us, but I still had to leave a tip and nearly 2 hours of my time was wasted and we left after the burger came outraw, so I didn't even get to eat. I understand issues happen, but this is not the first time I have been there and had to waitquite long for our order. They informed us at one point that all the staff in the kitchen they had were all new and then theysaid they had a staff shortage, I am not sure if both are true or that was just told to us. My family and I went to this Applebees for my wife?s birthday and had an amazing time. The food was alright and came out of the... kitchen as fast as it could but besides the food there was one person that made our night amazing. Matthew C. was our waiter andlet me tell you something about this man. He was so helpful with his recommendation to the menu and funny to boot. He made uslaugh with his professional comedy that it made our night out to celebrate that more enjoyable. I don?t know if management willsee this but in hope that others will I want to say we will be back because of Matthew! He is an amazing employee and we can?tthank him enough. I've worked at this restaurant, have dined in at this restaurant since working there. Figured instead of the local Chinese food... spots we usually order from, or some other random place we order from, I'd do Applebee's, because I always enjoyed the food...Unfortunately, the take out order seemed to be a little lacking vs. the dine in food, portions didn't seem the same. Meal costme $63 and change, left a $10 tip, drove home and opened the bag, disappointment... Called and spoke to manager, kind of got thecold shoulder...my grievances were responded to with denial...while staring at portions of food that I personally know are notthe same, as a previous employee... And a person that has dined in since.... Wouldn't recommend take out from this place...You'll be left dissatisfied and disappointed. Read more

Terrible terrible service, didn?t see the waitress after she brought out drinks, ate our food (brought by someone else), and... still didn?t see the waitress. Had to ask the hostess for the check and boxes for food (she was very nice), when the waitresscame over I said we get a free drink bc she only recommended Pepsi products (normally wouldn?t do this but I was annoyed to payfor anything with the service received). The manager came over acting condescending saying that Pepsi products counted asrecommending their signature drinks trying to say his employees recommended but he was doing me a favor. Honestly he just seemedlike the waitress and him have rendezvous and that?s why she?s doing such a horrible job compared to every other waitress. Allin all we were at Applebees for over an hour saw the waitress two or three time when ordering, would of had more drinks but shewas no where to be found (literally in the whole place) for like 45 minutes. Ordered 2 of the two for 22 dinners for takeout. Should have questioned the bill and checked the food. Bill was $65. Not sure if... they came with a drink but got 2 small sodas. Got it home and discovered that some of the meals we ordered were missing food. Sonot only was I charged to much but only got pat of what we ordered. Horrible! We were in the area for a baseball tournament, stopped by at 9 after our last game. There were 2 people at the bar... and 4 tables occupied and a bunch of staff just standing around. We waited almost 10 minutes just for someone to approach us.When a hostess finally came she said it would be a 30 minute wait. We thought she was kidding because the whole restaurant waspretty much empty and staff just standing around but she was very serious and not friendly.
