We Absolutely love Bella Michael's. We have been going a few times a year for the last 9 years. This establishment is not just... any ordinary restaurant they have seen us grow as a couple and a family and always remember us and ask how the kids are doingand make sure to always make small talk to "catch up". Everything here has always been 100% perfect without a single issueEVER. Always make reservations it's highly recommended. I always get the shrimp Bella Michael's. It's an incredible dish. Ifyou've ever contemplated going..just go. This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. We will continue going forever. Read more
Attended lunch after a memorial service. The family had ordered three entrees, rolls, soup and salad to be served family style.... We had eggplant parmesan, lasagna and boneless, grilled chicken breast. All were delicious and there was plenty to go aroundwith leftovers. Our server was efficient and personable. Service was fast. I've been here before with smaller lunch groupsand every visit was a good one. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The ladies room was clean and sizable although only a singlestall. Lunch with adult daughter and my husband on a Friday. It was perfect! The food, the service, and the vibe. We each had one of... the daily lunch specials and all enjoyed them. She had the shrimp arugula salad and I had the lobster, mussels, and clamlinguine with a lemon butter sauce. A very nice amount of lobster, more than I thought for $15. He had the beef & pepper wrapand enjoyed it with fries. I love #RealLocalFood with great service. Read more
Delicious food, friendly and welcoming family atmosphere. The food was evidently homemade. The staff were incredibly kind and... constantly checked up on us. Be advised, though, that the service was slow - which is understandable for a small restaurant withhomemade meals. Would recommend for a delicious, nice Italian family meal here in Oneonta! Read more
Wow! It’s all I can say. Unbelievable food and service. So refreshing to have had such great waitress service especially... during these times. The food was a 20 on a scale of one to 10! We ate here Friday night 3/11/22 about 4pm. We were lucky to getin. After we were seated the restaurant was all full with reserved seating. The entire experience was unparalleled in my mind.The delicious limoncello Cosmo pictured here with the clam appetizer, And the chicken Marsala was the best I have ever had! Myhusband had the bolognase and my son had the steak with baked potato. Your restaurant was one of the best restaurants I havebeen to serving Italian food! We were in town for an off season visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame and I have to THANKYOU somuch for being part of our wonderful memories! Thanks for everything do. Your amazing! Read more
What a great little Italian restaurant! Relaxing atmosphere, great menu and the food was ridiculously fantastic!! Bruschetta,... salad, rigatoni bolognese was delish!! Had cheese cake and lemon cake for dessert... oh my goodness! Don't pass up the chance toeat here. The staff was beyond friendly and drink selection was great as well! Read more
We were going to find a good local restaurant on our trip through Oneonta, NY, we struck GOLD. If you are ever driving through... and are craving some good Italian food this is the place to go. I had the special for the evening, blackened halibut over rice,my wife had a rigatoni Bolognese, both were delicious. They were extremely busy this evening yet they treated us like we weretheir only customers. Read more
One of my favorite places in upstate NY. Been going for years while traveling a lot in the area. Now that I no longer live in... the state, it's a must stop when in town. I would stack their meals against the best of Manhattan or any metropolitan city.Oneonta has a real gem in this place. The owner/chef, Alex, cares about a quality product and complete dining experience. Veryhappy to see it survived the pandemic. I hope to make it there again sooner than later. Read more
