First time trying Dave?s Hot Chicken, ordered combo #1 medium spicy and sub the fries with kale slaw. It came with 2 large... chicken tenders, pickles, sauce and 2 slices of bread (plain toasts not toasted). Ate the chicken tenders without the bread.They were flavorful and juicy and didn?t need the sauce. Kale slaw was good. Will order just the chicken tenders on the sideorder menu next time. Amazing food! Always consistent, spicy, juicy, and delicious. This specific Dave?s is extremely quick when ordering in store... because they have a drive thru. I?ve had many different hot chicken places and I would say Dave?s deserves the ?Best Overall?award. If this is your first time here and you like spice and flavor, I would recommend a medium. Stopped by after shopping at Ontario Mills Mall. When every other place shut down at 8:00pm this place was still open! Ordered... the chicken strip slider combo in hot and in medium. That was fire ???? If you like it spicy, this will satisfy! $14 for fries,chicken strip, and chicken strip slider. The size of the strips are larger and juicier compared to most other places. At just under $40 for two meals, one drink, and one mac n cheese we were expecting it to be worth it but sadly we were... disappointed. First, the sandwiches had maybe a tablespoon of slaw at most. Very light on sauce but chicken size was good. Mostdisappointed in the amount of fries. Hardly any. Mac n cheese was watery and bland. Parts of the chicken had a rubberytexture. Good place to grab some Nashville hot chicken. They have different combos. I got the sandwich combo, the level of heat I got was... hot. It wasn't that spicy tbh. Chicken tenders were very juicy and the spice level was perfect. Had wanted to come to this place since they were in LA. The... atmosphere is very cool and the food was prepared very quickly. They advertise three combos, and remind me of Roscoe?s. Irecommend this place for anyone who enjoys chicken sandwiches and tenders. Read more
