Still a nice restaurant to go too. Most of the other outbacks are shut down. There cheese fries use to be the best in town, but... now they've changed there fries. Not as good. But there onion petals and wedge salads are good. Only complaint is they over cookthere steaks from time to time. If they followed there own menu descriptions on steak cooking it would be better. Ordered the 9oz sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and coconut shrimp. The steak was not tender at all. The entire meal was not... very impressive. The bread was pretty good. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the greatest, I give The outback steakhouse a 5.I've had much better steaks at other restaurants. It was also pretty expensive for a mediocre meal. Not to return. It was okay. Service was excellent but the food was sub par, especially for the price. The best part was the blooming onion and... the kiwi strawberry lemonade! The soup tasted like it was out of a can and the steak was undercooked. I guess you can't reallymess up a salad. I wouldn't really go back. Read more
Walked in just a few minutes after they opened. Hostess held the door open for us. Was seated immediately and waiter was... promptly asking if we would want appetizers or something to drink. Food was wonderful and just filling enough. We ordered fromlunch special. We also enjoyed blackberry sangria's. Delicious. We had a $50 gift card and used up most of it to allow the restfor the tip. Been here once, and the food was good. The service was excellent and the place is clean. I would recommend this place.
Absolutely delicious dinner with my daughter, Carrie, @ Outback Steakhouse in Ontario Mills, and had the best little waitress... named Holly. Eat your heart out Gordon Ramsay of Hell's Kitchen ..this was cooked to perfection.. Look at the cook on thatmeat.. medium rare. I had checked the reviews on Yelp for the meals served here & at Upland and San Bernardino restaurants. TheOntario Mills had a less than favorable review 5 months ago, but their management was on it responding to the reviews andcorrecting the situations. Now that everything is up and running again, I see signs everywhere that they can't get help. Ourwaitress told us that she was new, but she was very cheerful, professional, quick, & efficient. We had our menus and waterimmediately, and she came right back with bread and butter and sugar. And then our salads came out shortly thereafter and we hadplenty of time to finish that before our main course arrived.We never had to ask for more water, (seafood makes me thirsty), shekept filling our glass I couldn't have had a better meal, had I cooked it at home myself! Never been to this location. They do offer both outdoor dining and indoor dining. Outdoor dining is limited to parties of (4).... Their wait time for the weekend was not that bad. The waiter was also great the 3 stars is for both the greasy blooming onion &the over cooked steaks. The baked potato and, mac & cheese and creamed spinach were delicious. I think though if most of yourmenu is steak you should have a cook who knows how to cook the steaks to a correct temp. Would I return probably not. Read more
