First time eating HONDURAN food and it was awesome! You might naturally think, oh it's going to be just like Mexican food but... are you SOO ever wrong! Take a Spanish speaking friend if you're not daring, cause everything's in Spanish! It's very laid back,so relax be patient don't be in a rush and just enjoy yourself! Treat it like an experience and tip generously cause the 2-3employees (waitress, cook, and maybe someone cleaning tables) work very hard. Read more
Drove with my family 25 miles to try out this restaurant. Food is delicious and tasty. If we ever come back it would be for... take out only. Don't waste time by dining in because the waitress named Mara is horrible. She didn't greet us when we walkedin, some tables hadn't been cleaned, after we sat, she came over with attitude like she didn't want to serve anyone. She tookour order, brought our food and drinks and that was it. Never came back to check on us because she was too busy talking toanother group of people about her life story on how she crossed the desert, paid the coyote 30k to come to USA, how she didn'twant to jump the fence and so on... I asked if she could bring me more sauce but instead she went right back to talking to herfriends. The way she speaks is not appropriate for a work place and was uncomfortable to sit there listening to all her drama. The restaurant setting and decorations are nice but they definitely need to retrain the waitress or customers will not comeback. Read more
Food was great, food gets 5 stars. But the waitress Mara is a different story. She was horrible 0 stars.
The service was absolutely horrible! Our group never got to taste the food because the waitress basically just ignored us from... the start, we walked in and stood at the counter for 5 minutes while she just stared at us. Then we ask do we just sitanywhere? And she yelled something in Spanish so we just sat down. She walked past us five times before walking over throwingmenus at us and yelling ..."I don't speak English " then process to walk away without asking if we wanted waters. My friendtried to tell her she speaks a bit of Spanish and that's ok, but she just walked away. We felt so uncomfortable 4 girls there tocelebrate a birthday and eat some food, instead we were met with a bitter filled waitress with a attitude problem. Weeventually just got up because she was just ignoring us and NO IT WAS NOT BUSY . It was just us and one other customer , whenwe went to orave she Sarcastically laughed and said by in a very rude manner. Sadly did not even get to try the food. Waitress was horrible didn't even acknowledge my friends and I, when we seated ourselves... still ignored. Finally she said she didn't speak any English didn't even give us menus so we just got up and left. She rudelysaid goodbye. Will definitely not be returning and just wanted to warn other customers on what to expect when dining here. Read more
I’m from Honduras, and it’s rare to find Honduran restaurants nearby so I was excited to come here. I came with 3 other... friends and immediately the server was rude! It took them 20+ min to get our order and when we wanted to get some drinks sheshushed us and said “no I’ll tell you what drinks we have before you start asking” and then she left and came back another20 mins later to tell us what drinks they had. The food took like another 20-30 mins… the server had blonde hair I didn’tget her name. I get they are understaffed but there was no need to be rude. The food was OK, it wasn’t the best. Then when Iwas ready to pay, I asked for the check she said “ok I’ll get it for you” then proceeded to go on her phone and starttexting.. Lo siento pero tienen muy mal servicio, pésimo! Food was great! Cook did a great job. The server however was hostile. I was the only customer there so I did a zoom call for... work. I wasnt loud. I wasn't rude to her. After that, she was really hostile and I can tell she wanted me out. Read more
The food is wonderful and it's open to ten but the thing is the Waitress didn't act like one, She would constantly be talking to... other people about herself,And wouldn't give ous the menu and we did she would keep talking more with other stuff members butthe food was the best expect las tortillas.
