A couple of monitors were dark - probably menu boards. There was no explanation or paper menus available. I got a... "large"/"entree" Caesar salad which in no way was meal-sized. It was OK, but could have been fresher. The price of $6.19 wasridiculous for this modest portion, and I was even charged $0.69 for a second dressing packet that I did not request. By the time you get to register your food is cold, well colder then it came out of oven warmer. Cheese pizza 3.4 calzon 3.4. The... cashier needs to be faster, of course I didn't help by going super slow paying him, that was my receipt to him. Not a badplace to get a slice of plain cheese pizza. Food was cold and old, young boy helping me was very rude and they seemed very overwhelmed but that doesn't mean we have to... suffer because of it. He not only was rude but had no idea what he was doing and could not remember who got what. The pizza here was extremely delicious, way better than I expected. I ordered a whole pepperoni pizza, it wasn?t that expensive,... about 18 to 20 dollars, but it?s huge. The cheese was so good, it stretches out when you take a bite. The pizza was really goodwith the crushed red peppers, it made it taste like something else. If you think about it, having a slice of Sbarro pizza requires a convergence of extraordinary events. Just think about it. To... have that slice, you need to have a relatively large community first, then you need a lot of land, then you need investors,builders, construction workers, building materials, and equipment. And after several years you get a mall, but more importantlyyou get the mall food court. And that essentially is the only place where you'll find a Sbarro pizza joint (I also read thatthey are in some airport foodscourts and some college campus foodcourts as well). OK OK maybe I'm overselling the fact Sbarro israre, but yes they are when compared to the Dominos and Pizza Huts of the world. In addition to being rare, I was reminded theother day how good their food was. Maybe I am being nostalgic, but for me at least, having Sbarro at the mall is as iconic ashaving popcorn at the movies or funnel cake at the fair. If you haven't tried Sbarro in awhile, have a slice. I purchased two slices of XL pizza and asked for two cups of water and the man named David said they don?t give out cups of... water. The other cashier had just given two cups of water to a customer that only bought one item. I was like but why did youguys just give her two cups if she only bought one item? I told David I?m not asking for you to give me free cups of water,charge me then if it bothers you so much and felt like he was discriminating some type of way towards me. I hope he never getsso thirsty that he?s going to wish for someone to offer him some water. Paid $4 for two cups of tab water. This person is soselfish, sad to be like that only to certain people. He needs to be trained better. By the way the pizza is gross, by the timeyou get to the register it?s already cold. The employees are slow.
