Really good bbq chicken sandwiches and fries. The slaw was not the best but still good. Prices are fair and quality of bbq... chicken excellent with not fatty skin. Restrooms are clean and tables are wiped between customers. The sweet tea was great andnot like some places where the tea tastes like sugar water. Plenty of parking and easy access in and out. Just when I thought it was safe to go back into CHUCKS BBQ OPELIKA, I realized that they had RUINED their sauce with SUGAR. In... addition they either changed meat vendors or lost the ability to cook because the meat is tougher than shoe leather. Read more
Wow!! Just passing through but omg I?m so glad we found this!! The ribs and chicken were to die for, the best ribs I?ve ever... had! The service is great, the staff is super friendly! An awesome hole in the wall bbq place that you don?t want to pass up. Itried the brunswick stew, I can?t say much for it cause I?m not really a fan of it. I have not eaten Chuck's BBQ in several years but decided I wanted to try some today while I was in town...As always it was... delicious...served hot...fast service...A lot of businesses change over the years but not Chuck's. For the past months I've cleaned up my Diet and work on my Body Frequently. I haven't had any pork since Thanksgiving and I... wanted some Barbecue. I buy Clean Food and want my food Prepared and Cooked as it should be. I must say I'm impressed. I googledBarBQue places in the Area and I selected "Chucks" I purchased a combination plate. My ribs was tender & had MEAT on them,cooked to the right temperature. My bite size meat covered with sauce was delicious; I do think a little more sauce or at leastoffer the purchase of additional sauce is needed. My ???? was buttery & Hot and Bake Beans could use a tad bit more of B Sugar,overall I'm Happy; Happy with my purchase, the pickles was even Good ???? the service I received was amazing. The young ladylistened to what I wanted and she suggested the "Combination Plate"I couldn't be more Happy; and my Food stayed in place til Igot home. Read more
The BBQ pork and ribs were good but stay away from the fries. They were chewy and overcooked.
The food was real good I myself didn't like the yellow sauce I would have liked it better with just BBQ sauce my husband &... myself had the Rib plate, my daughter had honey bbq chicken warp she loved it, and my son had BBQ chicken plate he was happy aswell very nice people .I hope to come by again.
