First time in the store today, I had a mobile order. While waiting for them to hand me my food off the counter, I witnessed a... guy that was pouring the smoothie from the blender to the cup wipe the spilled smoothie off the side of the cup with his finger(wearing no gloves) and then proceeded to put his finger in his mouth, I guess to lick off the smoothie, and continue to put thelid on the smoothie and I didn?t see him wash his hands once. I?m not a germaphobe, but I lost my appetite after and couldn?teat the food or the smoothie I ordered. Sad. Read more

I ordered online and I got the wrong food and smoothie even though on my receipt I got with delivery it had my correct order... listed on it. Never got a refund after calling the store with no luck and leaving multiple inquires online. Read more

I'm a huge fan of Tropical Smoothie and was so happy to have one in Opelika. I have been through the drive through 3 times. My... first experience was great. My second experience, I ordered 3 detox Island Green smoothies. It wasn't busy when I placed theorder, but it took a long time to fill the order. 2 workers inside carried papertowels in the direction of the smoothie station,and later, I was presented with 3 cups of partially filled, watery, runny smoothie in messy cups. I don't know what happened.That's the product I left with. Kind of disappointing. The 3rd time through, we ordered buffalo chicken wraps and detox IslandGreen smoothies. The chicken in the wraps was ice box cold. Not heated at all. I took the wraps in to request a refund. Evenprecooked chicken should be heated to 165 degrees. They said they'd remake the wraps. The wraps we had taken bites off ofshouldn't have been opened with gloves that were continuing to be used in food prep. The guy remaking the wrap coughed and thenused his gloved hand to touch the headset speaker portion in front of his mouth and proceed to finish making the wraps. Thosewraps, I just left with them and threw them into the trash. The smoothies they gave us were the regular Island Green and notthe detox Island Green with ginger in them. Annoying, but whatever. I placed my order online at 11:40 and order was scheduled to be ready at 12. I arrive at 12. They sit my smoothie out, to melt.... While I wait 20 more minutes for my food. That was sitting on the counter ready, someone just needed to hand it to me. The onlyreason they even got a 3 is because the lady behind the counter was clearly doing the best she could running back and forth andshe was very nice. Oh and my smoothie was not correct. I always order the same one and it's typically orangey red... This lookedlike a pale banana. Tasted good though so I didn't complain. Just wasn't right. Read more

I love the food and smoothies here. This location is 5 minutes from my house. I came here a few months ago and had the rudest... little girl take my order. I?ve gotten to the point where I don?t leave bad reviews because good customer service is just sorare these days anyways and people are always rude. I decided today to give another chance and I?m so glad I did! today I cameto the restaurant and was greeted by the sweetest and most helpful employee. She catered to my needs and requests soeffortlessly and was happy to do so in the process. I wish I would have gotten her name, I didn?t ask but the receipt saysNikera. She was so nice!
