Very delicious Mexican food! I got the cheese enchiladas, and they were so yummy! Reasonable prices, and had friendly service!

I really wanted to like this place but it was just not good. I bought asada tacos and the meat tasted like it was sitting out... all day (hard/chewy). I’ve never had anything like it. Person at the front was nice, though. Read more

The owner Ricardo is the sweetest man ever. He worked over at Moreno's for 40+ years before opening up his own place. To me,... this is the best Mexican restaurant in Orange County. Hands down. The food is off the charts good. In fact, it's so good it'shard to get a seat in there, even during their off hours. I believe his 4 kids help him run it. It's hard to find because of itslocation, but it's worth getting lost for a while until you find it. Order the Stephanie breakfast burrito. You won't bedisappointed!!! Read more

Great authentic Mexican food! The flavors take you back to the homeland. Huge portions with a fantastic, friendly service on an... immaculate establishment. We tried the Pambazo - it was HUGE and tasted delicious. My wife had the cheese enchiladas and theywere just as good. The only odd issue was that you’re not able to mix and match an enchilada plate - never heard of thatbefore. But besides that, everything was on point. We will be back and recommend this place to anyone looking for an authenticMexican meal. Read more

It was a wonderful, and filling experience well worth the long drive. One of the greatest authentic Mexican restaurants I've had... in a very long time. Home made is the best made true love and passion was taken in preparation Fantastic food. Been back butthis time with my family it was way better the second time around, and I can't wait until the next visit. Read more

I decided to go here because of the good reviews, but unfortunately what I ordered was not a pleasant dish. I ordered a pambazo... de asada, which came with meat, lettuce, sour cream and cheese. To start off the presentation of the meat didn’t look good atall, it had a pale color, wasn’t flavorful at all, the red sauce on the pambazo was good, but the bread looked overdone, somewhat burned that I’ll cut through it and it be hard to get the knife to cut. Also I got a tamarind water and it was ok,but it had a slight taste of fermentation as if they had mixed fresh tamarind water with some leftovers that were starting to gobad. I honestly regretted ordering my lunch from this restaurant. Read more

We saw all the good reviews so opted to try it before hitting the outlets at orange. We were worried when we pulled into the... parking lot because of the no frills appearance but it proved delicious and we sat outside. Would go regularly if we lived I the area. Read more

We found this place on Yelp! and were very happy we went. Open just 8 months ago by the Gonzalez family (Stephanie, her sister &... parents), this restaurant is very welcoming. A little hard to find, but when we called they gave excellent directions. It's inthe Donut Star plaza between the Union hall and the Metro PCS plaza. We parked and walked in to a smiling Stephanie. We sat nearthe windows and were given menus and fresh made tortilla-rounds with 3 different sauces (varying degrees of heat). We orderedCorona Lights (they also had Premier, Extra & Familiar available) and perused the menu. It was Tuesday, so tacos were $0.99each! I went to the Specialties section and went with the first choice because I'd ever seen it before, The Pambazos. My husbandordered the steak fajitas with refried beans & rice. While we were waiting we were given more chips and got to speak withStephanie. She told us about the restaurant and different foods they made. The food....it was FANTASTIC! Stephanie explainedthat the Pambazos was a traditional "sandwich" everyone ate in the streets of Mexico. I akin it to a Po-Boy sandwich in NewOrleans - a mixture of everything in there. It is: a Torta (oblong roll-like) lightly covered in red Enchiladas sauce (notdripping) filled with potatoes, chorizo, lettuce, queso fresco, cheese and sour cream. Yes, it was DIVINE! I added a little ofeach sauce to bring out more flavors, but didn't need to. The fajitas were also very good. The steak was tender and the veggiescrisp. The wraps were made fresh along with the refried beans and rice. Everything was fresh and phenomenal. To make things evenmore so, Stephanie brought out 2 soft-shelled cochinita pibil tacos. WOW! These were also phenomenal. What is it? A traditionalslow-roasted pork with shredded cheese, red onions, lettuce, tomato. Nothing here was overdone, crumbled in your hands, or wasoverstuffed. It was all so perfect. Then she brought out some Moles (pronounced mo-lays) - lightly frie Read more
