For a long time I heard about "Goodies in the Pantry ", but I never got a chance to set aside the time to go, until yesterday. ... Oh, boy! What a treat! If you know to appreciate good finds, and good eats, than chain restaurants will became a joke after yourfirst visit to "Goodies in the Pantry"! REAL FOOD, prepared by REAL PEOPLE! The smell and the aroma in the store/restaurant, itbrings you back to earth from the virtual, noisy , busyness and stressful life. I will say, for many of us can be considertherapy, just to seat and enjoy a extremely delicious meal, welcomed by very nice people. As it was my first time here, I'vegot to meet the owner, and by the time I left, it was like we always knew each other. Very friendly people, and the environmentwill make you feel like home. Very impressive! Good job, " Goodies in the Pantry " . And by the way, after you are done withyour food, go shop in the store, for extra supplies if you want a small replica of what you just eat. My wife was driving me nuts about wanting something to eat. Me, I don?t care everything sounds boring. So she said we are... going to try Goodies! She nailed it! I loved it from the parking lot you can smell the smoking at work. We are fans and willmake this our new spot. Sorry no photos my wife and I were enjoying the food. No time for any of that. I had wild boar with potatoes and pickles and I have to say it was delicious, also the kids had potato soup with smoked pork... beyond amazing . The service was great , prices were excellent and the deli is very well stocked. We waited only a few minutesfor the food and it smelled like heaven! Plenty of free parking. Read more
This shop smells absolutely intoxicating. Excited to hear baked goods are on the way and there will be even more in my next... visit. I had a brisket sandwich with wonderfully soft and perfectly toasted bread, and a chipotle sauce complemented by sweetpickles. It was gorgeous. Read more
(2022 update. Still a great shop). The owner promised me his fillet mignon would be the best I ever had, and it was, or at... least tied for the best ever.
