WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Saw all the social media post, about how awesome tand tasty this place was. That the micheladas were... amazing ... blah blah...BLAAAH...BUNCH OF B.S. Let me start off by saying this place was dead, 1 couple was there and they weredone when we showed up. We went for an early dinner late lunch. Music was blasting as if it was a night club...service wasTERRIBLE. Ordered our food and drinks. When food came out they forgot 1 order. Then my son's plate came out AFTER we allfinished. Then we all ran out of water, no refills. Like if we were inconveniences for the wait staff. They over charged us forour drinks by 2 bucks each, according to the menu price. Not cool. Now that "AMAZING" michelada tropical...HARD PASS...1st it'sway over priced...2nd way watered down...3rd wasn't good...below not good. Food was... MEEEH...GET READY TO DROPDOLLARS...DOLLAR DOLLAR BILLS Y'ALL. We should of walked out when sing says "cash only"....should of walked away. My 2 cents. Read more
This place is good. Lots of fish options. Music is a bit loud but overall its good.
Food is great, no matter what you order. Always hits the spot. Only downside is cash only but come prepared or use the ATM on... site. Read more
The food was ok nothing to write home about its ridiculous that they charge you to park here for valet and have no other option... for parking it's not a 5 star restaurant for them to charge valet though, the drinks are great but the food is so expensive notworth it in my opinion not saying it's bad but it's not worth what it's priced at, I've had much better seafood at otherrestaurants for half the price a 20 dollar cali roll is all I should have to say about the food pricing, great drinks ok foodhigh priced and it's not like it's a great hang place with live music or nothing just a regular smegular restaurant. Everything was delicious. Absolutely fantastic. We had a couple specialty rolls, the fajitas and a gobernador taco & a birria... taco. The food was incredibly fresh and the service was fabulous. We cant wait to go back. ???? Read more
VALET PARKING ONLY CASH ONLY The drinks were great! We had sushi rolls and they were not great. The flavors were off. I'm not... sure if it's a preference issue but their are raw and cooked items, hot and cold, and flavors were off. The music is loud butnot an issue if you like live Mexican music. The chips and green salsa are great! They give you a small sample of ceviche, it'stasty! I would go back and try the Mexican food on the menu instead of the sushi. Read more
I am a big fan of Palapas food. Everything I have tried from start to finish has been great. Starting with a mango michelada... which was super balanced. Sweet, salty and a hint of tartness; garnished with a Tamaroca, a mango and cucumber slice dipped inescarcha made it absolute perfection. To start they bring you some great chips, salsa and bean dip which are a nice littleappetizer. We got the California roll and let me tell you, it doesn't compare to any Japanese sushi place, but was still OK. TheCeviche in salsa negra is great and full of flavor. Definitely my go to. Had to try a shrimp taco, because why not!? When Ifirst got the taco and saw that it was made with a flour tortilla I was a bit skeptical, but after I bit into it my taste budswere pleasantly surprised. It was cheesy, crunchy, with a bit of spiciness from the salsa they provide. It was truly amazing.Definitely going back and gettin' me some more in the near future! The service could be better, the waitresses are not toofriendly. The atmosphere is nice with some Mexican music playing in the background. One of the times I went I was charged forvalet parking, but thankfully I think they did away with that. Read more
